Draco stormed through the bustling street leading to Blaise's apartment building. The more he thought about the incident and what Blaise tried to do, the angrier he got.
By the time he reached the lobby that held the elevator to Blaise's floor, he was furious. He could hardly stand still as the lift carried him up each floor level and when the lift doors dinged open he shot out of it like he was on fire.
Red in the face and spitting with anger, Draco banged his fist on the door.
"Fuck off Theo! I told you never to come near me again you good for nothing sissy! You'll get what's coming to you, mark my words!" Called an angry Blaise towards the door.
Draco leaned his forehead against the fist he still had on the door. He needed to coerce Blaise into opening the door or he was going to blow it off it's hinges.
"It's not Theo." He drawled.
There was a quick scrambling from behind the door and then heavy footsteps on the other side of the door. Draco stood back. He planned to confront Blaise and took a deep calming breath before the door opened.
Blaise swung the door open and gave Draco a smug, pompous smile. "Drake!"
SMACK! Draco's fist connected with Blaise's jaw and a deafening crack sounded. Blaise was thrown backwards on to the floor of the lounge behind him at the force of Draco's punch. He spat blood onto the carpet as he held his almost broken jaw.
With Blaise's smug look still imprinted in his mind, Draco bounded forward and dropped to the ground as he pushed Blaise's chest down with his right knee. He dropped Hermione's blouse down next to him and grabbed Blaise by the collar of his once crisp shirt.
Draco continued to lay his fist into his head while Blaise struggled furiously to get himself free from Draco's grasp.
Blaise's attempts were no match for Draco's ferocity.
Draco's picked up the blouse and held it over Blaise's face waiting for him to focus in on the object. He searched Blaise's face for any sign of recognition and when he saw the blouse through his bloodied up face, his eyes glinted.
Draco punched him again. His chest heaved as he tried to contain his anger and his fist was covered in Blaise's blood, the skin on his knuckles splitting.
"If I ever," Draco heaved. "...catch you out doing something like that again..." Draco breathed and leaned down to whisper into his ex-housemates ear. "I'll kill you."
"If you so much as talk to her again..." He looked into Blaise's eyes, his own a deep, dark grey, "I'll kill you."
Blaise tried to say something but Draco cut him off. "Insult a muggle-born in front of me..." Draco gave him a malicious look. "Guess what? I'll kill you."
Draco released Blaise and stood. Blaise coughed, rolled over on his side and began hacking and spitting up blood. Draco stood over him. "Don't test me Zabini. You know I don't give false warnings."
Still coughing on all fours, Blaise began to laugh.
Confused, Draco stared at him, waiting. Say something smart, Zabini. Do it. Give me a reason to end this right now. Draco thought to himself.
"Do your parents know you're in love with a mudblood?" Blaise laughed. "I'm picking they won't be too thrilled!"
Draco kicked Blaise in the gut. "Don't call her that!" Blaise only rolled over still laughing in a deranged sort of way in response.
