Draco

Draco trudged up the steps to Malfoy Manor. He was mentally drained. He had just spent the last few hours sitting with some stupid goblin going over all this money and transferring it into muggle money to get it into the specified account that Miss Reynolds had given him the details of. By the end of it, he was seriously regretting the decision to buy the damn apartment and wished he'd just given it to the mudblood in the first place.

He opened the door and what lay behind it didn't improve his mood in the slightest.

He was met with a squealing Pansy hugging his mother who had a fake genuine-looking smile plastered on her face as she hugged Pansy back.

"Draco baby!" Pansy squealed rushing over to him. "Your mother has given us the holiday home for the weekend! Isn't that great?"

She jumped into his slackened arms as he glared at his mother over her shoulder.

Narcissa made her way down the staircase towards her son and the squealing girl.

"Isn't that great son? I've booked a car to pick you both up out the front at 7pm sharp. That's almost 2 hours from now so I suggest you go upstairs and pack." Narcissa said in a sickly sweet voice that made Draco want to wring somebody's neck.

Draco all of a sudden felt very trapped. I need to do something. He had to think fast.

"Mother, I have prior commitments." He stated matter-of-factly, ignoring the way Pansy's face dropped at his words.

Narcissa's face threatened to faulter but she held her composure. "And what commitments may that be?" She asked, daring him to lie to her face.

Draco cleared his throat thanking Merlin for the fact that his mother highly underestimated his ability to lie. "As you know, I've just purchased a house. I need to furnish this house as soon as I can." He said, looking her in the eye.

"What of our half dozen house elves?" Narcissa questioned.

In a perfect world, Draco would have the elves furnish the apartment for him. In fact, that's exactly what he planned in the first place but if that meant he had to spend the rest of the weekend with Pansy? No deal.

"I'd like to supervise." He said sharply.

Before he could be interrogated any further he climbed the stairs to his bedroom leaving both women gawking in the foyer.

He summoned the house elf Tink, sister of Dobby, to his bedroom to apparate his bed to the apartment along with other things in his room he'd need. His tall boy, his bedside tables, his arm chair, desk and desk chair.

He moved to the secondary dining room and apparated the whole interior, table and chairs included, to his apartment, much to the dismay of the elf.

He spent a good part of the night moving out of the Manor but by the time he was done, Draco was so spent he collapsed on his bed fully clothed and went to sleep.

Hermione

Hermione slammed the door to Grimauld Place and screamed in frustration. She hated Draco Malfoy. He was, to put it frankly, a cunt.

She angrily made herself a sandwich and and upon finding she was too riled up to eat it, left it in Kreachers cubby hole for him later. There was no point telling him to eat it, if he knew it came from her, he'd most likely throw it at a pedestrian before he ate it.

She grabbed a bottle of wine and stormed upstairs to her bedroom where, in the comfort of her own ensuite she ran a hot bubble bath and charmed the water to stay hot as she drowned her sorrows in the wine bottle she had charmed to keep refilling itself.

Hermione drank till she was numb and before she passed out she could be heard saying inaudible things about a cocky ferret and a bullshit apartment deal going down the drain.
