9 - Trouble

"Hyerin?"

Sumins eyes widened when she pushed Baekhyun away from her body after she kissed him. Regret was written all over her face when she saw her friend standing in front of them.

"What are you doing here?" The girl walked up to Sumin and noticed who the boy was. "Wait, is that Baek-?!" Hyerin almost shouted but her friend covered her mouth. No one should know that Baekhyun was spending time with a girl when it wasn't a schedule.

It was a taboo for an idol to go out at this time with an unkwon person.

"I can explain this- but not here, okay?" Sumin whispered and looked between Baekhyun and her best friend. The boy was confused and he didn't know what to do while he watched them stumble through the city. "Let's go to my place." Sumin said and pushed her friend to keep on walking but Hyerin stopped.

"Oh no! You'll come too!" Hyerin hollered and pointed at Baekhyun who was still watching them quietly.

"I think it's not a good idea if I come. You two need to talk." He chuckled and walked backwards.

"Just come!" Sumin grabbed his arm and dragged him with her friend to her apartment.

"You're working for SM Entertainment as a make-up artist?" Hyerin frowned and stared at Sumin the whole time, not being able to believe what she just heard.

"Yes." Sumin nodded and looked at Baekhyun. He was quiet the whole time and he didn't know what to say. Would everything be ruined now?

"And why did he kiss you? Not that you're not attractive, but he is Byun Baekhyun!" Hyerin whined and pointed at the boy in frustration.

"We went on a date." Baekhyun laughed shyly and tried to loosen up the mood but Hyerin only got more shocked by his answer.

"You went on a date?!" She screamed and shook Sumins shoulders. "Why didn't you tell me earlier, that you worked for them?!"

"Because I didn't know how you'd react!" Sumin finally said and pushed Hyerins arms away, being tired from all the shaking because of her anger.

"What about the others? Do they know that you're their Make-Up artist?"

"Only Eunji." Sumin mumbled.

"You're keeping a lot of secrets from us and that is not okay." Hyerin said and her heart broke a little. She thought that Sumin would always tell them the truth or that she wouldn't have any secrets at all since they trusted each other when it came to shutting their mouths.

"I know but I wasn't ready." Sumin looked down at her hands, trying to hold back her tears as she felt horrible that she didn't announce such news to her friends, and now that Hyerin was mad at her, she couldn't imagine how disappointed she was.

"Was he also the one at the party?" Hyerin questioned seriously after sighing.

"Hyerin, can we please not talk about that?"

"You told them about the party?" Baekhyun asked at the same time and looked at Sumin, his eyes widened when he overheard that she didn't even tell them who it was.

"So, it was you!" Hyerin got up from her seat and ruffled her hair in frustration when she found out that it was Baekhyun from the right beginning whom she spent time with.

"Hyerin, please! I wanted to tell you but not now!" Sumin sobbed and stood up too to get on the same level as her, but Hyerin almost hovered over her when she just got angrier at her friend.

"Yes, well. I don't know what's up with you right now and I really didn't mean to ruin your date." Her best friend said and was about to leave but Baekhyun stopped her after he realized that Sumin was about to tear up when Hyerin made her way towards the front door.
