6 - Guardian

Sumin came back home after her first day. She was tired and she just wanted to sleep but that had to wait when she still had homework to do and since here finals were right around the corner, she had to study.

It was already 10 PM and she sat in the living room with her hot coffee next to her and of course, her homework sheets were spread on the table, but all of the sudden her phone buzzed which made her frown at the sudden message of someone she didn't know.

Unknown number: How is your leg? Sent 10:26 PM

Sumin: Who are you? Sent 10:27 PM

Unknown number: Baekhyun Sent 10:27 PM

Sumin choked on her coffee. How did he get her number?! She didn't think much about it and saved his number in her phone, just in case.

Sumin: How did you get my number? Sent 10:30 PM

Baekhyun: Well... Sent 10:32 PM

Baekhyun: I took Yeols phone haha Sent 10:33 PM

Sumin: Does he know that? Sent 10:35 PM

Baekhyun: If you won't tell him, no. Sent 10:37 PM

Sumin thought about how he must be grinning at this moment. She chuckled and looked at her leg, remembering what happened after he cleaned her wound, but when two started to make out in their dressing room, the girl stopped it when it got too heated.

Sumin: I won't, don't worry haha Sent 10:40 PM

Baekhyun: So Sent 10:42 PM

Baekhyun: How is your leg? Sent 10:42 PM

Sumin: It still hurts but not like before Sent 10:43 PM

Sumin: Thanks for your help by the way Sent 10:44 PM

Baekhyun: You're welcome! You should cool it down with some ice or take pain killers Sent 10:45 PM

Sumin: I will Sent 10:47

Sumin: I have to study now, good night Sent 10:48 PM

The girl put her phone away and started to continue with her homework. She yawned and stretched her body but she got distracted by her phone again as she was about to get into her work.

Baekhyun: Sleep tight and see you tomorrow baby Sent 10:53 PM

Sumin blushed at the message and ruffled her hair. 'What is he doing to me?!' She asked herself and leaned back on the couch while closing her eyes. Without even noticing it, she started to become more tired and fell asleep in the living room.

The next morning in school was horrible. Sumins eyebags almost reached to the ground and she just looked plain awful in the eyes of the other students. Even the teachers noticed it since the girl didn't complete her homework the night before, which made everything worse.

"Sumin! This is the 4th time that you didn't do your homework. You know that you'll fail this class if you don't get a good grade in the exam!" Her teacher shouted and got the girls attention.

"I'm sorry. I was about to do it but I fell asleep." Sumin said quietly, she didn't even dare to look up to meet her teachers angry state.

"Stop it already. You got only two months left until you graduate."

"Mrs. Cho, I think Sumin will fail anyways. Why is she even attending this class?" Juhyun hollered and made everyone laugh while Eunji threw a pencil against his head to shut him up.
