Wild Time Headcanon (NAHWC)

( I want to put this in the story but I'm not sure if I'll be able to... I'm just gonna put it here for now)

(Got the idea from a tiny little part of Iamanewbiewriter13 's Wild Time fanart... Even though it has nothing to do with it. Eh. Still inspiration.

Mitch's enhanced senses are sometimes what he believes to be one of the worst parts of his superpowers. Both jokingly and seriously.

Jerome is obviously a loud person, and though he is aware of his friend's super hearing, he sometimes forgets that and his yells visibly make Mitch flinch, the loud noise hurting his ears. Jerome tries to restrain himself, but sometimes he can't help it, and he'll feel sorry about it.

But it's not just Jerome, since out when they're fighting, there are just so many noises (the gunshots, the gunshots), so much going on, but Mitch has to keep fighting because he can't afford to stop, despite his senses screaming at it all.

And there are random days when his supersenses just kick into overdrive, and it's just all too much. The noises make his head hurt and his eyes feel all too sensitive and oh god it's just too much, and he basically shuts down because he's afraid to do anything or because he feels like he's going insane or because it's just so loud-

And then Jerome realizes what's happening and tries to be there for his friend and help him as much as he can because he's having a sensory overload and the sight of his friend in so much pain and in such a panic makes his heart ache.

Jerome just calls them Mitch's "bad days", because we all have them, right?

Some are just worse than others.
