Six| Partners

I sat down in the back of the classroom like I usually do, but this time I wasn't alone. Ethan decided to pick up his belongings from the front, where he usually sat and join me.

"How can you hear the teacher from all the way back here? And how can you see the board?" He squinted his eyes, struggling to take the notes that were on the smart board.

"When you sit back here everyday, you're senses start to kick in." I shrugged.

"Okay class, today you will be partnering up with someone of your choice, you will have a project based on 1989 in the Southern states." Mr. Hanks said.

"You and me are partners" Ethan stated.

"Who said I wanted to work with you?" I smirked.

"Me"

"I see.." I chuckled

"Hey Ethan" a group of girls said at the same time. "You wanna work with us?"

"No" he shrugged "I already have a partner, but maybe another time." He said, opening his laptop.

They rolled their eyes and mumbled things underneath their breath while walking away. Who knows...maybe Ethan isn't so bad after all, maybe I just had the mindset that he was just like his brother.

"Come on Ethan, we have to get this project done," I said in between kisses.

"The project can wait." He said, attaching his lips to my neck "Besides Mr.Hanks isn't too strict" he said, sucking harshly.

"Come on, Ethan" I whined "We didn't even start"

"Fine" he sighed, removing his lips from my neck and picking up his textbook. "I already have a F in that class, I don't understand why I have to even bother." He rolled his eyes.

"What do you wanna be when you graduate?"

"A business man" he mumbled. "I wanna own my own company someday"

"Do you think business men made F's?" I questioned. "Or do you think they worked their ass off in school to get to their dream college?"

"Why do you even care?"

"Because you cared about me, when nobody else would." I pecked his cheek.

"You missed." He laughed.

I rolled my eyes and kissed his lips for a good minute before pulling away.

"Can't we work on the project tomorrow?"

"Ethan, the project is due tomorrow"

"Okay...and?"

"Did you not hear a word that came out of my mouth?!"

"I was just kidding. Calm down" he chuckled "Your so cute when your mad." He said, jotting notes down from his book.

I blushed deeply, before getting to work myself

"Are we done yet?" Ethan groaned, while plopping down on his bed.

"No, we still have two more pages." I yawned.

"We've been working on this for hours. We should've been done."

"We would've been done if you hadn't got distracted so easily." I scoffed

"Let's finish tomorrow. I'm tired"

"No" I spoke "we're finishing it tonight."
