Demon Princess POV:

Papunta na ako ng headquarters ngayon. Napapabuntong hininga na lang ako dahil sa mga bagay na kailangan kong bitawan sa araw na ito.

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. Ang hirap pala ng ganito pero kailangan kong gawin. It's for the better.

It's been five years since I became the queen. It's still kinda unbelievable but at young age, I became one. They fear and respect me but I can still feel the emptiness and now I need to leave this life of mine.

Nakasanayan ko na ngunit wala akong magagawa sapagkat nagsimula nang makialam ang magaling kong ama.

Pagkapasok ko ng headquarters ay bumungad na agad ang apat pang miyembro ng Kuruta Gang sa akin. They are all busy with their own businesses.

Si Black Rose at Black Butterfly ay kasalukuyang naglalaro ng computer games. I can say that they are best buddies, they've been best of friends since I came to know their existence. Si Black Rose ay magaling sa paghawak ng iba't ibang sandata tulad ng baril at espada. She's a beauty yet a dangerous one. She also specializes in poisonous chemicals.

Si Black Butterfly naman ay magaling sa iba't ibang uri ng martial arts. But unfortunately wala siyang interest na sumali sa mga omlypics, she prefer having the gangsters as her punching bags.

Si Blue Dragon na nasa harap na naman ng computer ay kung-anu-ano na naman ang kinakalikot in short sya ang computer wizard ng grupo.

At ang huling miyembro na si Red Dragon na twin brother ni Blue Dragon na nagbabasa na naman ng libro.

Pareho silang magkapatid na super geek pero magaling din sa battle field. Blue at Rose are couples same as Red and Butterfly. Yeah right, pity me. Leader na walang kaloveteam. Maybe I'm just waiting for the right man to come. Weew. Nag-emote naman ako dito. As if naman gusto ko talagang magkalove-life. It's not on my vocabulary so wala talaga akong balak magkaroon nun.

And lastly ako na kung ang kaalaman ang pagbabatayan ay mas magaling pa ako kaysa sa lahat ng miyembro ng gang namin. Swords, guns, man-to-man fight, computers? Name it all, I'm good at almost everything and I'm near to what they call perfection.

"Guys, may sasabihin ako." I snapped to catch their attention.

Tumigil silang lahat sabay lingon sa akin. Minsanan lang kasi ako magbukas ng conversation sa kanila kaya surely papansinin nila ako.

"I'm leaving the gang for good." I said while wearing a poker face look for them not to notice the sadness I'm feeling right now. Minahal ko naman na kasi ang grupong ito. They are like my family since my mom died years ago.

"What?" sabay sabay nilang sigaw sa akin. It is the reaction that I expected. They surely will freak out because all their life they admire me, they serve me as their queen and now here I am, bidding my final goodbye.

"I had to, at maski ako kahit ayaw ko ay kailangan ko kayong iwan." Buo ang loob kong sinabi sa kanila.

Hindi sila halos makapagsalita dahil ina-absorb pa ng utak nila ang sinasabi ko, alam kong nabibigla sila pero kailangan ko tong gawin. It's for my revenge.

"Black Rose, you're the most matured in the group next to me, I'm assigning you as the new leader, bye gangmates, bye friends."

Pigil kong saad sa kanila and I already left without waiting for their response dahil baka di ako makapagpigil at mag-stay na lang ako dito with them.

***FLASHBACK:

"But dad! Why do I need to leave my life here para lang sa gusto niyo?" I questioned father but he still have no reaction.

"You can't stop me for what I want Dhyzelle Keith. Sapat na ang pinagbigyan kita sa loob ng apat na taon sa kabaliwan mong yan. You're leaving your gang and you're going to study at El Greco University there in the Philippines." He firmly said. His deep ocean blue eyes are staring blankly at me and it's telling me that there's no way I can say no to him right now.

Pag tinatawag ako ng daddy ko sa buong pangalan ko ay alam kong pinal na at hindi mababago ang mga sinasabi niya.

"My answer is still no." I said to him and stared at his eyes.

Saglit siyang natigilan at napatitig sa mga mata ko. Alam kong bakas sa mukha ko ang pinaghalong inis at gakit but I didn't give a damn. I'm angry right now, my gang is my second family and he's taking them away from me. I don't care kung mag-away man kaming mag-ama ngayon, I just want to be with my friends.

Nakita ko ang pagbuntong hininga niya saka tumingin ng deretso sa mga mata ko.

"They are there, they are at the Philippines. Those who are behind your mother's death." I stiffened upon hearing it. So they are there. Napangisi ako.

"Then I will go, and you won't be able to stop me." Mariing turan ko.

I will never waste another five years waiting for those bastards to come out. I will hunt them and make them suffer till I'm contented.

My dad was the former gangster king and my mom who is already dead is also the former gangster queen. That doesn't mean that I inherited the position from them, I got to where I am because of anger. It's the thirst for justice that lead me into this situation. A young feared ruler of the Gangster Underworld.

"Lahat ng kailangan mo ay nakahanda na, you'll be using the name Melody Cruz and you will be enrolled as the first university scholar. And don't worry, di ka naman maninibago dun because the university is full of strong gangsters. Take care my dear."

I just nodded kasi wala naman akong magagawa. Hindi ko naman siya pwedeng kalabanin dahil siguradong pakikialaman niya lalo ang buhay ko much more than the way he controls me now.

After that short convo ay umalis na siya. Ganun naman si daddy sa akin. It all started since the day we lose mom.

I know he's planning something big because he won't open up things about my mom that easy. There are bigger things behind sending me back there.

'I know you more than anyone else dad.' I murmured while staring to the door he walked through.
