Chapter 10

(lmao I published this before it was ready to be posted, so sorry to anyone that saw the rough draft before I deleted it)

"Camila!" Lauren squealed when she threw open the front door of her (very impressive) mansion that Camila had arrived at only moments before; hesitantly walking through the gates and stumbling up to the big white front doors with a gold handles and wondering if she had gotten the address wrong.

"Hi" Camila awkwardly greeted, offering the pale girl in front of her a little wave before scolding her self mentally for being so goddamn awkward all the time. Though her negative thoughts were completely disregarded when Lauren giggled and grabbed the awkward hand, dragging the brunette in with a shit-eating smile.

"This is my house- as you can tell. I know it's impressive and I can give you a tour if you so please" Lauren told the girl, and if her words were coming out of anybody else's mouth they would have sounded braggy but with Lauren's huge smile, just slightly insecure voice, and tight grip on her hand, Camila didn't take it that way at all.

"I'd like that" Camila told the smiling girl that seemed just the smallest bit insecure as the younger girls eyes took in the gold and white themed mansion around them.

Lauren's smile seemed a little more genuine and relaxed when she heard Camilas genuine interest and Camila couldn't help but wonder why Lauren would ever be so nervous about Camila liking her house.

"Okay well, this is just the entry room" Lauren said, stopping in the room that you enter once you travel through the front doors. It's large with white walls and marble white floor that looked like it had been waxed just yesterday. Ceilings four times higher than any in Camilas house with wide and very clean windows placed all around the walls. Directly in front of them is two pairs of dramatic white staircases, one on the left and one on the right that both curve to meet in the same open hallway upstairs.

Before Camila can really say anything Lauren is dragging her to the left where there is a tall entry way to a large kitchen up against the wall. Just by first glance, Camila knows this is her dream kitchen because there is a sleek black island in the middle of it and what looks to be the biggest refrigerator Camila has ever layed her eyes on.

The walls are the same perfect white colour as in the entry room but the floors are black and white checkered tiles. There are white counters that line the walls, along with black cupboards above them, a fancy sink with no dishes in it and a big extravagant looking window that has a beautiful view of the huge pool in the side yard.

The living room had white carpet and black couches surrounding one of the biggest flat screen TVs Camila had ever layed her eyes on. The bathrooms (there were five that Camila counted) all had luxery showers and spotless white interiors. There were many extra rooms, game rooms, a movie theater room, a big room that was just a food cabinet, and many extras. It was definitely the most impressive house Camila had ever had the luxery of stepping foot in.

"So.. your family is rich?" Camila finally asked as her and Lauren stood at the foot of the very large infinity pool in Lauren's backyard. There was a big bubbiling hot tub and many different levels to the pool, along with a beach house that looked fancier than Camilas own house.

"Yeah, a little bit" Lauren giggled, her grip on Camilas hand tightening and making the younger girl smile shyly in return.

"My grandfather was a large investor in Snapchat when it was first starting up, so" Lauren revealed, trailing off in her sentence when Camilas eyes widened, nodding in understanding.

"Anyways, wanna see my room?" Lauren asked the younger girl, nodding over her shoulder to the house they had skipped out of when Camila had let out a strangled gasp at the sight of the older girls impressive pool.
