I was lost in his kiss. It was something I had subconsciously wanted for months. I needed Sodapop and my heart longed for him. He pulled away and looked at me.

"I love you." He stated in the most serious voice I'd ever heard.

"I love you too Sodapop." I said all in one breath.

He gently rubbed his hand across my face and I smiled at him. His eyes lit up at the sight of smile and I knew that this was it. My whole life I had been a gypsy traveling the world. I thought I was searching for freedom but I was searching for home. And my home was Soda. He was what I was looking for. I was home.

"Let's go home." He said grabbing my suitcase from my hands. I nodded in agreement.

"Home." I repeated while holding his face and looking into his eyes. My future.

"Yeah baby, home." We had forgotten that the rest of the gang was watching us. When we turned around they were all smiling and we all started laughing.

"What the hell just happened?" Steve laughed wildly.

We looked at each other and laughed as well, the rest of the gang joined in. How the hell I went from seeing my boyfriend in jail to getting broke up with to trying to leave to kissing the boy I truly loved, I have no idea. But here I was. Walking home with the boy I'm in love with. The boy I was meant to be with. And I swear on my life, I'm never letting go.

When we arrived at the Curtis home shortly and all sat in the living room while Ponyboy insisted on unpacking my stuff in his room. He would be staying with Sodapop now that I was back here.

"What about Dally?" Johnny finally asked the question we were all wondering. Everyone stopped in their tracks. They turned to me to listen for my response. Ponyboy and Johnny both gave me sad looks. I knew they loved Dally more than anyone else did, anyone but me.

"Dally and I broke up. He didn't think it would be fair for me to wait on him." The boys eyebrows all went up, they never thought Dally would be the one to break it off. They told me he loved me... "I love Dallas Winston. He's my best friend you guys, but I'm not in love with him. I'm in love with Soda." I said turning to Soda and seeing him grin at me.

"You think Dal's gonna be cool with this?" Johnny asked.

"I hope he understands." I answered as honestly as I knew how to.

Ponyboy rested his hand on Johnny's shoulder. "He will." He promised.

I could only hope that Ponyboy was right.
