I had been with Curtis boys a week now. In this week I had been lucky enough to not meet Sandy. Sadly that kick ended today. We were getting ready for dinner and Soda had informed us Sandy would be coming for dinner.

"Hey Tristan can I talk to you for a second?" Soda asked while I was setting the table.

"Sure." I said and then followed Soda over to the living room away from the other boys.

"Look, I feel bad for asking you to do this. But can you not tell Sandy you're living here? I told her about you, but I said you were staying with Dally at Bucks." He explained. His face was filled with guilt.

"Sure." I finally said. "Yeah no problem. You should probably tell Dallas to act like I've been living there too." I recommended.

"Already did." He said patting my shoulder. "You're the best." He exclaimed and then kissed my cheek.

I smiled and fake smile and then turned back to the kitchen. Ponyboy looked at me with sad eyes but I pretended I didn't notice.

Not a minute later there was a knock at the door. And then entered Sandy. Perfect. Beautiful. Sandy.

"Hi baby!" She exclaimed and then jumped into Sodas arms and kissing him

"Hi baby!" She exclaimed and then jumped into Sodas arms and kissing him. Dallas must have seen my discomfort because he grabbed my hand slowing down my heart rate. I hadn't told him how I felt about Sodapop. But Dallas knew me. I didn't have to tell him.

"You must be Trixy." She said without a smile.

"Tristan." I corrected.

"Yeah that's what I said." She argued in an annoyed tone. I clenched my jaw and didn't snap back despite how much I wanted to.

"Dinners ready." Darrel called out just in time.

"Darry this looks amazing. Thank you." I stated while approaching the table.

"Yeah Dar Bear is an amazing cook!" Sandy cried proudly.

I tried by best to hide my chuckle but it slipped.

"What's funny?" She asked in a more serious tone.

"Nothing." I lied.

"Doesn't sound like nothing?" She asked in a fake kind voice. One that particularly pissed me off.

"No really it's nothing. I've just never heard that nickname before." I tried to explain as kindly as I could.

"Well you haven't been here as long as I have. You don't really know the boys like I do."

My eyes widened at her ignorance and arrogance. I actually hated this bitch. "Wow." I mumbled quiet enough nobody heard.

"Soda, tell everyone the story of how we first met." Sandy commanded.

"They've heard it baby." He replied while taking a large bite of the chicken casserole Darry served.

"Trinity hasn't." She protested.

"Tristan. My name is still Tristan." I fake smiled.

"Tell it!" She demanded in a high pitched whine.

"Alright. So I was working at the DX like every other day and-"

"No start from the beginning!" She pleaded.

"This is the beginning." He replied.

"No the part where you and I see each other at the supermarket and you said I was the most beautiful girl you'd ever seen." She looked at me as if I was the most disgusting thing she'd ever seen.

"Well, the day after that we met at the DX. Sandy came in and told me her car had broken down down the road and she needed help. So I walked with her and found her car and it was running just fine. Finally she admits there ain't nothing wrong with her car and she just wanted me to ask her out. So I did. Best decision ever." He smiled and she leaned in and kissed him. My jaw clenched again and Dally saw and took over.

"You guys I ain't feeling too well. I'm gonna head out. Tristan you coming?" He asked giving me an escape.

"Yeah of course. The meal was great Darrel thank you so much." I thanked him and we left quickly.

"Thank you." I said when we started walking down the dark street.

"Yeah. I got you." He said. I smiled and slightly shivered at the cool air. Dally slipped off his jacket and slipped it on me.

"I really missed you Tristan."

"I missed you too Dally." I said using his nickname I had grown found of. When we finally reached Bucks place he was having a party, which I had been informed was a normal occurrence. We slipped inside without anyone seeing Dallas and went to his room.

"Thanks for letting me stay here Dallas."

"Yeah anytime." We both sat on his bed and I looked at him and smiled.

"I'm sorry." He said randomly.

"For what?"

"This." He said and then leaned in and kissed me. At first I didn't react at all, then I felt myself start to kiss him back. I brought my hands up to his dark locks and pulled him closer.

I pulled away and starred at him. Then with little thought all, I slipped off my shirt and started kissing him again.
