Sixteen

ASHTON

I wake up with someone knocking on my front door, I get up in a hurry, stumbling into everything. What time is it? I hate when people wake me up. I open the door to face Hannah.

"Hey" She smiles at me, comming in the apartment. I notice her cheeks blushing slightly as she passes through me, I haven't realized I was shirtless.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask, still a little dizzy.

"I came to ask you out" She says and I can't avoid pulling a face, frowning at her "Just as friends, don't worry" She adds with a laugh.

"Oh, okay... We're cool then?" I ask, a little unsure after our last talk.

"Yeah, totally. So, what do you say we have dinner tonight? I was thinking about inviting Summer too"

I hesitate a bit "Really?"

"Of course, c'mon Ash, you two are my best friends. I'm not gonna shut you guys out just cause I'm in love with you and you love her" She says it in an awkwardly natural way, but I can't avoid the guilt from coming back for a moment.

"Hannah, I..."

"It's fine Ash, seriously. Let's just forget that even happened, alright?" I nod slowly, happy that she's actually getting over it, and she smiles at me "So, dinner tonight?"

SUMMER

I'm watching an amazingly boring movie when I hear a knock on my door, glad that I have a reason to get up and do something other than trying to figure out why the main character is so stupid.

"Han, hey!" I say, letting her in "What's up?"

"I want to invite you for dinner tonight" She smiles "Well, you and Mr. Beautiful Blue Eyes that was here last night"

I frown, surprised "How did you know Luke was here?"

She lets out a laugh "I came here, to invite you for dinner actually, and bumped into him" She explains "I'm so happy that you're back with him, he's a really nice guy. And I know how much you like him"

"Well, I'm not back with him, I just..." I'm about to try to tell her about my weird situation between Luke and Ashton, but she doesn't let me finish.

"Anyway, I was thinking that it'd be nice if we had dinner together, are you up to it?"

"Yeah, I guess..."

"Great! Oh, and would you mind if I take someone? I don't really want to be standing there alone while you two love birds talk" She laughs.

"It wouldn't be like that, but sure. If you want, who are you bringing?"

"Mhm, don't know yet. But I'll definitely find someone till tonight, don't worry"

"Where are we meeting them again?" Luke asks me, fixing his hair for the tenth time in front of the mirror.

I laugh at him "It's a pizzeria near by. Do you do that everytime you go out?" 

"Do what?"

"Fix your hair a thousand times, though it's perfectly fine already" 

He laughs at me, blushing a bit "Oh, that. Yes, I do it everytime" He gets out in front of the mirror and heads towards me, grabbing my waist "You should fix your hair more times too"

"Wow, you shouldn't talk about a woman's hair, it breaks them"

"Somebody had to tell you that you have a messy hair" He laughs, placing a kiss upon my nose.
