"Geny", I hear someone say behind me. "The teacher is going to get after you, wake up", Jessica says, whispering.
"Genesis Guzman!", A woman yells and i wake up. It takes me a second to realize that i fell asleep during class. And the teacher yelled at me because i was snoring.
"I'm up!".
"You are lucky it's the last day of school or else i would have given you detention".
"Yeah-
I was cut off by the bell, the last bell of the day. Everyone jumped out of the seat and ran to the door, i stayed back still wondering what just happened.
"What?", Jessica asks me while she gets up, getting her stuff ready.
"I don't know". What's going on, i thought it was summer already. Why am i in school and why are we still in seattle? I am supposed to be in New York.
"You are supposed to be happy! It's summer!", She says and punches my arm.
"Why are we here?".
"What?", She says and turns to look at me.
"We live in New York not seattle", She looks at me and then laughs.
"I'm serious, we used to live here then Cameron asked for my help and then we fell in love, then we moved to New York and then Kassy kidnapped me, then i fought her and then a year passed and then she kidnapped him and then you and i saved with the help of Zac and Dustin. You fell in live with Zac and then we lived happily ever after and then i woke up!", I scream and let out a deep breath i didn't know i was holding.
"First of all breath, second The Cameron Boyce and the third is Zac cute?", She says "and looks at me waiting for my response.
"That's all you are going to ask after all i said, after the whole speech?".
"Uh yes, wait and you dreamt all of that in one class that is 55 minutes long?".
"Yeah pretty much",I say and stand up. "Wait, so it was all a dream?".
"Yes, we don't live in New York and we are not friends with Cameron Boyce".
I just stay quiet and walk out of the class, Jessica comes besides me and we walk to our houses.
"Bye, imma head home".
"Wait- I don't proceed because i know it was all in my dream, that she lived with us.
She is still looking at me waiting for me to continue.
"Are your parents home?".
"They never are", She says and looks down.
"Why don't you sleep over?", I suggest and she smiles.
"Let me ask my parents", She says laughs and turns around. After a second she turns around and says yes.
"You sure your mom won't mind?".
"No, you know she looks at you like another daughter", I tell her, put my arm around her neck and we head home.
"Hello Jess", My mom says once we are inside.
"She is sleeping over mom", I tell her, she looks at me and i look at her.
"Are you sure you don't mind Mrs.Guzman", She asks again.
"No, she doesn't mind, right mom?".
"Yeah she's right, go on".
"Thanks", She says and we go upstairs.
When i walk in my room, i feel something wierd inside me since i am used to the other house we lived in. I still can't get over the fact that it was all a dream, it felt so real.
"What are you thinking about?", Jessica ask me.
I sigh and start to talk. "Nothing important just the dream i had".
"Geny, you have to let that go", She says, her phone vibrates and she looks at her phone.
"Who is that? New boyfriend?", I ask and she smiles.
"Yeah, his name is Zayn", After she says that i feel wierd again, I feel bad for Zac, they were the perfect couple but what if he doesn't exist, anyways it was all in my head.
"But what about Zac", I say without thinking.
"Who is Zac?", She asks.
"Nevermind".
"Ok, so if you don't mind, what exactly happened in your dream?", She asks me.
"It's-
"If you don't want to talk about it i get, it because i know Cameron has been your crush since forever".
"No, i want to talk about it", I say and she puts her phone down.
"It all started when i meet Cameron", I start to tell her, we spent the whole day talking about my dream and i am glad she's right here with me, listening and understanding what happened in my head, while i was dreaming in Math class.
"Wait i don't understand, so i tried to change you into a girly girl?", She says and laughs.
"Yeah". I say and we both laugh.
"Woah, that is a crazy thought, you and i both know you can't walk in high heels!", She says and i stop laughing. She keeps laughing but then she says she's sorry.
"So what happened in the end, did you become one or".
"No, after i tried it for a bit, i realized that i can't be changed so we both set down the subject and i turned back to my old self", I say and we both yawn.
"I'll tell you the rest tomorrow", I say and we both lay down and fall asleep.
"Okay, goodnight sleep with Cameron", She says and my eyes go wide.
"What?".
"I'm kidding, just go to sleep", She says and closes her eyes.
"Sleep with Zac", I say.
"What?", She says but i don't answer. I dream about me and Cameron, when we watched movies and i feel asleep, why can't i just accept the fact that it was just a dream, a stupid dream and a stupid little crush on Cameron Boyce who doesn't even know i exist. I have to get over it like Jessica said, it was only a dream...
