Chapter six - I dont want to drive

{ Emma's POV }

It has been one whole month since the story was published in that stupid magazine.

Luke and I are really close he asked me to be his girlfriend about three weeks ago now.

Things were going amazing, mum had come home for a couple of days before taking

off again. I also have become close with the boys and Calum's girlfriend Ruby. I freaked

out a first because she is like youtube famous and she is such a lovely girl.

Today it's the start of the 2 week holidays and Luke's birthday is in about 2 month. Just

Morgan and I decided to go on a road trip only for three days down the coast. I said

goodbye to the boys last night and Morgan was over mine packing our suitcases in the

car.

We started driving south and blared the music in the car. I loved spending time with

Morgan we were deep in comversation.

" So I was going to ask you but what are you going to get Luke for his birthday. He is

18 after all. " she gave me a wink.

" Morgan your so dirty. No I'm not sure, hey look it's already five time to swap. Your

turn to drive. " I laughed at her question. I got out of the drivers seat and Morgan got

in for the next few hours.

We arrived at a small camp site and pitched a tent we toasted mash mellows and ate so

much chocolate. We went to so many different places. Road trips after road trips. The

main purpose of this holiday was to surf and we did that. Even though back home in

Sydney it's cold. Down the coast was warmer was a little warmer . So every morning

we woke up at six to go out in the water.

The water was amazing here even better than home. I was upset we had to go home

the three days went so fast.

" Come on cheer up it's your last day, we can go back home and visit the boys "

Morgan said.

" Hey I'm not driving tonight it's your turn. I'm really sleepy. " I pushed her playfully.

" Fine get in the car " We started to drive and I feel asleep. I was woken by cars beeping

at us. I looked over at Morgan and she was dozing off.

" Morgan come on wake up, Morgan " I grabbed a hold on the wheel

" Morgan ! Watch out !" She then woke up but it was to late every thing went in slow

motion....

A truck came start towards us. Morgan steered away but not fast enough the truck hit

us hard. Morgan went straight into the front window and I was smashed to the side. I

screamed on impact. My whole left side was aching black dots were taking over my

vision. Morgan was limp in her seat.

" Morgan come on wake up ! " I felt like I was screaming but really I was whispering.

" Your the bestest friend I've had do you know that. Even though it's not a word I love

you so much" Hot tears ran down her face.

I started crying and undid my seat belt. Morgan was stuck the wheel had her legs.

" Please don't say goodbye hold on, please " that's the last thing I remember then the

sound of sirens filled my ear drums....
