Chapter tweleve- I have to stay strong

{ Emma's POV }

I re applied my makeup and took a few deep breaths. That's what Luke said to do when

I was stressed. Every time I tried to have fun and enjoy my life the walls would come

crashing down. Morgan was the answer it felt like I was blaming her but really I

missed her so much it killed me inside. It was Luke's day and I couldn't ruin it ....

I stopped at the top of the stairs and the boys must had been busy. Everything was

ready for a great party. It was semi formal, next weekend just the band and a couple of

Luke's friend were actually going to go the club. I saw Luke looking at me and grinned

while he waved me over.

" Hi you must be Emma, heard a lot about you. I'm Jack one of Luke's older brothers "

he gave a hug. I was a bit stunned at first and quickly hugged him back before pulling

away and blushing.

" Hey " I looked over a Luke and what to say next.

" Don't be shy, you never normally are " he grinned and kissed my forehead.

" Wow so my little brother really is in love. " I laughed at his comment and went

around to meet more of Luke's family.

" So that's is my mum Liz, over near the stove " Luke whispered in my ear.

" Go say hello " I looked at him, gulped and walked over without Luke.

I was scared, as anyone would be. Your meeting your boyfriends parents for god sack.

" Hey um I'm Emma Luke's girlfriend " I said to Liz.

" Oh wow your beautiful, hello Emma I'm Liz." She gave me a huge hug and we talked

for ages. Before Luke came over and rested his head of my shoulder.

" Hey mum what are you doing to Emma she been her for half an hour " he grinned at

his mum.

" Nothing and give your mum a hug I haven't seen you in ages "

I watched as Luke and his mum hugged and talked about how much they missed each

other. I couldn't help but think about my mum and where in the world she would be

right now.

" Im just going to go outside, getting a bit stuffy in here. " I spoke to Luke he just

smiled and went back to talking to his mum.

I walked outside and around the corner, currently where the water tank sits and sat

down. Taking deep breaths I pulled out my phone, I desperately wanted to call my

mum just to here her voice again but I couldn't do it.

I tried to push the thoughts away, Morgan, mum, school. I hated always thinking

about my self and not others.

" Emma " Jack came around the corner and giving the state of me sitting my head in

my hands, he knew what was wrong.

" Hey, are you okay " he came over and runner circles on my back.

" I'm so sorry you had to see my like this " I wiped the remaining tears from my eyes.

" Don't worry everybody needs to cry once in while " he said and helped me stand back

up on my feet.

" Please don't tell Luke, I don't want him to know I was crying again " I mumbled the

last words.

We walked inside before Luke came running over.

" Where were you " he asked.

" Oh um " I looked down.

" I was just telling Emma embarrassing stories about my baby brother " he laughed and

quickly covered me up.

" Jack... Come on Emma I want you to meet my friends from school "

I was pulled away to talk to many random people. I have to say I pulled off a great fake

smile the whole time.

{ 11:11 }

It was 11:11 on the clock the time of wishes. Luke came over and kissed me saying his

wish came true. Although I wish my did...

By this time only the band members, Ruby, and a couple of friends were left. Cups and

food littered the floor and streamers and balloons have popped or hung around in

random places. I felt so bad but I really just wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep.

Instead I danced around and laughed with his band, trying so hard to push Morgan

away.

" Turn the music up Calum " Luke yelled.

" Babe I think you have had enough to drink " he grabbed another cup of alcohol.

" I love you soooo muchhh " he slurred his words.

" Okay I love you too, but your not going to remember this in the morning. Let's go

put you to bed " I laughed but it was good excuse for everyone to leave.

Luke was a funny drunk and I put him to bed while he asked for his penguin which I

couldn't find.

Everyone was gone I was the only one up, as well as Ashton. We started to clean up

the horrible mess.

" Are you okay Emma, you haven't really talked much " Ashtoh asked.

" Yeah, I'm fine enough about me. How's the band going ? " I tried to avoid talking

about me yet again.

" uhh yeah it's going well were booking at tickets for London, have a small gig in

Sydney in about a month. You should come it's really fun. "

The conversation went on before we were both tired. I crawled into my bed and went

to sleep. It wasn't really how I wanted today to turn out but as long as Luke was happy.

I pulled a smile on my face ....
