It wasn't along before Kai and Sweet Pea reached the Diner. He parked his bike and she took off the helmet, quickly fixing her hair. He held his hand out to her and motioned for her to take it. She looked down as she took his hand in her own.

They were big, soft, and warm, engulfing her small one. She smiled as he pulled you towards the entrance of Pops. Before she walked in she saw Veronica, Betty, Jughead and Archie sitting in a booth.

Rolling her eyes she motioned to them with her head to Sweet Pea, "They won't ruin tonight for us." He replied sending her a genuine smile, no smirk or intent on trouble.

He pushed the door open, making a small bell chime signaling that there was a new customer. Pop shot her and Sweet Pea a small smile, "Take any booth you two I'll come and take your orders shortly."

Kai quickly thanked him before taking the booth 2 down from the others. "What are you getting?" She asked him leaning back into the seat of the booth.

"Cheese Burger." He replied. She looked at him confused, "No drink?" She looked closer, there it was his smirk.

He didn't say anything and just shrugged as Pop approached their table. "What can I get you two lovebirds?" He asked chuckling slightly.

Kai blushed before ordering a Cheeseburger and Fries just like Sweet Pea. As Pop was about to leave Sweet Pea spoke up, "Also could we also have a Chocolate Milkshake with two straws."

Kai blushed madly and put her head down. Pop smiled and winked "Of course I'll be out soon with your food."

She hit the other serpent's arm, glaring. "I would've liked a warning thanks."

Kai noticed Sweet Pea looking over her shoulder and at the booth holding the other 4 people that were there as the two walked in.

She looked to see Archie not so subtly glaring their way, sighing she put her hand on Sweet Pea's clenched fist, "Don't let them ruin tonight." She scolded lightly quoting what he had said earlier.

He smiled slightly before relaxing from his tense state, "Here you go kids." Pop exclaimed placing the food in front of both of them and then a milkshake in the center of the table, two red straws poking out.

"Thank you Pop." Sweet Pea commented as the store owner walked off. Kai looked out of the window getting lost in her own thoughts, though it didn't last long as a French fry was launched at her face. She snapped her head towards a smirking Sweet Pea.

She glared at him and turned to fully face her date. He put his hands up in surrender, "You were spacing out I had to get your attention some how."

The conversation continued from there to whatever was happening now. Sweet Pea had French fries in his mouth acting like a Walrus and Kai were laughing her ass off.

He ended up almost choking on the fries, and she just watched still laughing. They were both having so much fun that they didn't realize that the a group of people had entered the Diner.

Kai heard someone mutter something and she looked up seeing a group of Bulldogs looking at your table, "Need something?" She hissed folding her arms over her chest.

Kai's rival, and enemy stepped to the front of the crowd, "Yeah we want to know what a Serpent slut and her Serpent freak of a boyfriend are doing here."

Sweet Pea shot up from his seat, "What did you call her?" he hissed towards the teen who had dared to call you a Serpent Slut in front of Sweet Pea. He smirked and gladly took the chance to repeated his words, "A serpent slut." Sweet Pea clenched his hands into fists.

It was her turn to stand up, "What do you want Reggie." She scoffed moving the hair from off of her face.

He put finger on his chin, acting like he was thinking, "Maybe I just want you and him to leave Kai."

The annoyed girl angrily threw her hands into the air, "You literally could have just said so."

She slapped money onto the counter and mumbled 'keep the change' before grabbing Sweet Pea and dragging him out of the Diner before he could start a fight of any sorts. He angrily punched a wall, "Why do they always ruin everything!"

He growled pushing his hands through his hair. Kai hesitated not knowing what to do, so sh did the first thing that popped into her head, she hugged him.

He was tense at first but before long the angry serpent relaxed actually hugging her back. "I don't know about you but I had a wonderful time, they didn't ruin that." Kai muttered her voice muffled by his shirt.

She looked up to see him giving you that signature smirk of his, "How about you come to my trailer for the night, I'm mean it's late and I'm pretty sure my trailer is closer."

She untangled her arms from around his waist and grabbed his hand, "Let's go!" She exclaimed making her way towards his bike.

She didn't bother to put a helmet on this time and just hopped on after Sweet Pea had gotten on. He revved his engine once before taking off out of the practically empty parking lot and out on the roads that would take them home.
