"Jughead calm down." Archie said calmly, trying to get the other boy to sit down. Jughead continued to place back and forth between the walkways in Pops.

"Calm down?" Jughead head exclaimed, "Archie, Riverdale just became a police state!" Kai rested her head in her hands groaning, trying to process everything.

"McCoy's convinced the Serpents are the one dealing Jingle Jangle." The Red headed boy sighed.

Kai perked up, "What? Serpents don't deal that stuff." She clenched her hands into fists, "The Ghoulies do."

"So tell Mayor McCoy that!" Archie exclaimed.

"Oh Mayor McCoy?" Jughead scoffed lowly, he took a seat next to Kai in the booth, "Do you mean the Mayor McCoy that just arrested all my friends for no reason?"

Kai intervened again, "Why do you care anyway Archie?" She questioned. "I thought you and Betty wanted nothing to do with us, or the Serpents in anyway?" Jughead chimed in, "Right?"

Archie sighed, "Look, i'm sorry about what happened and how it happened. And as for Betty," he paused, "you should maybe talk to her."

Jughead's phoned beeped, he check it before getting out of the booth pulling on Kais arm. "We gotta go. Tall Boy wants to parley."

The two teenagers made their way through a dimly lit house, that had blaring music. The reached a room where Kai noticed Tall Boy was sitting, "Sit down, kids. Business to discuss."

Both of them remained standing, "Tall boy what the hell is this?" Kai snapped, "Where are we?"

"You're in my house." A voice said from behind them. Kai watched as a boy dressed in a robe that was littered with skulls, "It's the house of the dead." He chuckled plopping down on the couch behind him.

Jughead scoffed, "Well, I'm sorry, who the hell are you?"

This time Tall Boy spoke up, "Take it easy you two." He nodded towards the guy with the robe, "Malachai speaks for the Ghoulies." Jughead and Kai stared, stunned.

"With the heat on us and our ranks depleted, our tribes need to unite." Tall Boy continued, "And that's going to be easier to do, if you endorse this partner ship."

The teens turned and looked at each other, "Us?" They both asked in unison.

"Jughead, you're FP's son and Kai, you're the daughter of Daniel Jackson." Tall boy started to explain, "That carries weight, especially with our younger members."

Kai was about to explode, as well as her beanie wearing friend beside her, "Tall Boy!" She exclaimed, "They're the reason Southside was even raided!"

"Them and their Jingle Jangle." Jughead spat.

Malachai grinned, "Chaos is how we thrive. You better get used to it."

Jughead took a step forward, "Are you really going to do this to my dad? Our dads?" Gesturing between himself and Kai.

"Your supposed to be their right hand." Kai spat, disgusted.

"The Northside declared war today." Tall Boy slowly got up from his sitting position, "Jughead, your old man isn't here to call the shots, and Daniel seems to have a lot more family issues to care about at the moment."

He stood up all the way, "And, yeah, I'm their right hand." He shot a look between Jughead and Kai, "That makes me de facto leader, here and now, so..."

Kai glared at Malachai, who took another sip of whatever alcohol resides in his bottle. "Things are changing. Either you change with them, or suffer the consequences."

"Evolve or die, baby." Malachai smirked, "Evolve or die."

"This isn't an alliance with the Ghoulies, this is a hostile take over." Jughead ranted to Archie. "Oh god, who knows how long Tall Boy has been planning on betraying us."

Kai looked at Jughead from her place beside Archie on the couch, "Maybe stall? Just until Sweet Pea, Fangs, and Toni get out." She suggested slightly drunk.

"I just hope they'd rather go to war with the Ghoulies than start.."

"dealing Jingle Jangle." Kai finished right as Archie tried to get their attention.

"You guys!" He called out. The two Serpents turned to Archie, "Jughead you joined the serpents to keep the peace and Kai I'm going to guess you want the something."

Kai scoffed, "Our dads would never sit back and let this happen."

Jughead stepped up, "So neither will we." He turned away, "So, unless you have any better ideas."

Archie leaned forward on the couch, "Not me." He looked up at Jughead, "But, dude, what you just said." Jughead and Kai stood for a moment before realizing what Archie meant.

"Alright you guys, start from the beginning." FP spoke through the phone help up to his ear. After a couple minutes of explaining FP stared down at the table informs of him. Kai stood behind the two boys who sat at the bench, Archie and Jughead with a phone held up to their ear.

Kai stood listening intently to the words coming out of Jughead's phone, "Hey, you can reprimand me for joining the Serpents later, but if we don't do something now, there will be no more Serpents."

"It'll just be the Ghoulies." Kai added.

FP slammed the phone against the glass stretching between Kai and and boys, and FP himself. "Ghoulies dress like fops," FP spoke into the phone, "but they're a nasty crew." He sighed, "Serpents have survived worse though. Much worse."

Kai refrained from asking what else was worse than this, keeping her mouth shut.

FP continued, "The only hitch is, it sound like your out-manned," FP leaned forward, "that means you gotta avoid bloodshed at all costs."

Archie nodded, "I agree, 100%."

FP glances between the three teens, "So out think 'em. This is about territory, and if there's one thing Ghoulies loves it's there crazy souped-up retro cars and hearses."

Kai smirked, "You catch my Riverdale drift?" FP questioned.

Jughead and Archie glanced at each other, "Challenge them to a street race, one on one." FP stated, "But keep it on the DL. It's illegal, it'll get you locked up."

Jughead nodded at his father, "Go on." FP took a breath, "Set the terms of the race. Their guy wins the Serpents roll over."

Kai finished for FP, "And if we win, the Ghoulies back off."

FP then suggested another thing, "Maybe raise the stakes a little. And whoever wins controls Southside High."

Jughead was even more eager, "And we get rid of the Ghoulies, and the Jingle Jangle, then get McCoy off our backs."
