Kai wiped at her eyes furiously, she shouldn't be jealous and she knows it. Betty was stripping and Sweet Pea was a normal, hormonal teenage boy.

"Stupid stupid stupid." She muttered, jamming her key into the trailer door. "Dad?" She called out, noticing the empty spot in the couch. In it's place, she noticed a small sticky note. Sighing, she closed to door behind her and picked up the paper.

Last minute meeting with the lawyer, will try to be back as soon as I can.
~Love Dad

Kai rolled her eyes and fell face first onto the couch. She turned herself over, why had she been so jealous in the first place? They had just started dating and they were both starting to get used to it.

But they were still dating and the way he looked at Betty made Kai's blood boil. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. Groaning, she hoped that it wasn't Sweet Pea.

Just her luck, the tall serpent stood right there. She opened the door wider, "I'm sorry." She blurted, leaving Sweet Pea confused.

"Why are you apologizing? I'm the one that was being an asshole."

Kai shook her head, "She was dancing practically naked, and you're a teenage boy."

Sweet Pea sighed, "That's still no excuse, we're dating and you're reaction was to be expected."

Stepping back, she plowed the alley into her trailer. "Can we both agree that what we did was stupid?" She groaned, laying back down onto the couch.

Sweet Pea chuckled, "I guess, but I'm still going to be making it up to you."

Scooping her up into his arms bridal style, he ran to Kai's room. "What the hell are you doing?" She screeched.

He smirked and threw her onto her bed, falling next to her. "Sleeping." He replied simply, pulling Kai into his chest.

Knowing that no matter how much she shrugged she wouldn't escape his grip, Kai sighed relaxing into the embrace.

A few days passed quicker than Kai could register. Winter break had come and oh was it exciting. A janitor turned serial killer, making it quote "one of those towns".

Not to mention, Southside High was shut down. Fangs and Sweet Pea burst out of its doors, while cheering. Kai followed not far behind smirking at the two troublemakers.

"What's going on?" Jughead questioned, Toni sitting next to him looking equally as confused.

"This hellhole is closed." Kai grinned as more students streamed out from behind the trio. "We're done! No more Southside High." Fangs elaborated.

"What? How?" Toni exclaimed.

"They say it's dangerous and gonna be quarantined." Sweet Pea shrugged, nonchalantly.

"Who cares? We're all going to different schools." Fangs smirked.

"Where are you all going?" Jughead questioned, crossed his arms across his chest.

"Same as the rest of you, Northside High." Sweet Pea answered, an arrogant smirk resting on his lips. "Think of all those Northside heads to knock." He laughed, playing around a bit with the tanned serpent next to him.

The next day had everybody riled up. It was the day the Southside students joined Northside High. Right in front, Kai entered with Jughead, Toni, Fangs, and Sweet Pea at her side. Of course with many following behind.

"Friends." Veronica greeted, "Welcome to Riverdale High!" Kai smiled at how the tanned teen was taking the sudden change. "This is a registration desk we had set up to help ease your transition into your new school." She explained happily.

"Locker assignments, class schedules, lists of sports and extracurriculars can be found here." Archie informed, making Kai actually take note of the redheaded male.

Veronica leaned forward on the desk slightly, "We encourage each and every one of you to drink deeply from the cup that is fair Riverdale." Alas, all good things seemingly have to come to an end.

To all the the transferees from the Southside's dismay, here came the queen bee. "Stand down, Eva Peron!" A voice called out from behind the registration desk.

Lo and behold, a flame of exploding red hair came gliding down the stairs, her goons following no far behind. "All hail the queen." Kai snorted sarcastically. Veronica rolled her eyes at the sight of Cheryl Blossom looking to start some drama.

"There's the school spirit I so fondly remember." Jughead commented, a smirk resting on his lips.

"Cheryl." Veronica snarled, "No one invited Fascist Barbie to the party." Kai was a little impressed with the mouth the other teen had on her.

"Wrong, Veronica." The redhead chided, "no one invited Southside scum to our school."

Kai raised a brow, "Isn't that exactly why we're here? Because their principle said so." Her voice lowered so it only stayed between her and the others behind her.

Cheryl trained her gaze onto everyone behind Veronica, "Listen up, Ragamuffins." Her signature rose painted lips pressed into a firm line, "I will not allow Riverdale High's above average GPA to suffer because of classrooms that are overcrowded with underachievers."

Toni And Kai glanced at each other, "Why don't you come over and say to our faces." They hissed in unison, both taking a coupe steps forward.

"Gladly." The redhead smirked.

Archie was quick to intervene between the three girls, "Can we put our Northside-Southside differences aside and start over? A clean slate?"

Of course it was Reggie to speak next. Kai glared at the football player with every piece of hate in her body. "See you don't speak for the Bulldogs, Andrews. And need I remind you, these greaser-snakes showed up at your place trying to kick your ass."

Kai bit her lip, "And we kind of did." She muttered, causing the corner's of Toni's mouth perk up for a split second.

"We'll be happy to finish what we started." Sweet Pea grunted, pushing his way to the front of the crowd. Kai pushes her arm out, along with a couple other serpents, to stop him form making any further advances.

"I'm so over the toxic masculinity in this hallway right now." Veronica declared. Before she could complete her sentences, Principle Weatherbee finished off the argument. "All right. That's enough pomp and circumstance. Everyone, let's get to class." With that, the crowed was dispersed.
