Beep Beep Beep... What the hell Kai thought, blinking the tiredness from her eyes. As she moved to sit up, she hissed in pain.

Looking down, she found a plain dark green cast covering up to her right upper arm. No one was in the room, though it seemed there was someone else who had been in the room prior to her waking up as there was a dirty blue backpack in the corner of the room.

With her non-injured arm, she reached up to feel the bandages covering most of her forehead.

A nurse entered through the door with a clipboard, surprised to see that she were awake. "Oh I'll go get the doctor!" She rushed out before Kai could ask any questions.

Sighing she turned to face the window near the bed. It was nighttime and if she remembered anything correctly it was been at least 24 hours since she had passed out.

It wasn't long before the door opened again, but this time there were two men.

One was obviously the doctor the other was not who she had expected. Rolling her eyes Kai cocked a brow, "Why and how are you doing here?"

Sighing the male ran his hand through his hair, "This was kinda my fault so.."

The doctor coughed awkwardly to gain both of their attention. He took a look at the clipboard before looking up at her, "Kai broke your arm, it's pretty simple to explain." The doctor stated.

Kai nodded for him to go on, "When you fell back on your elbow, you landed with a hard impact...." the doctor went on to explain what happened, though she had started tuning out the doctors voice about halfway through.

The doctor caught her attention by laying his hand on her uninjured shoulder, "That's all, except those other injuries are still a mystery to me. Be careful on your bicycle from now on and watch where your going."

With that the doctor left the room. "Bicycle?" She questioned raising a brow once again.

The man shrugged grinning, "Would your ether me had said that you got hurt in a brawl with the 'Red Circle'."

Huffing she groaned "Touché."

The man sat in a chair beside her bed "I am glad your ok kid." He spoke after a moment of silence.

Kai grinned, "I always am dad."

The doctor came back with paperwork so Kai could be signed out. As she stood up, she balanced herself by hold onto the edge of the bed, then three things were chucked at you.

Due to reflexes, she caught them before they could go over her head. It was a pair of sweat pants, a very big shirt, and underwear. "Go get changed so we can leave." Her dad complained.

"Hey you aren't the one with a cast basically covering your whole arm." She hissed before reaching behind her back with her left hand to untie the gown.

Yes, she got dressed right there, he was her dad after all . "Ready?" He asked after giving her, her phone and any other essentials she had with her the previous night.

"Where are we going?" Kai asked as she and her dad exited the hospital.

"We're going to your trailer, but I want to swing by the Whyte Worm to say hello to some old friends first. You can make sure your friends know you're safe." He replied.

Opening the passenger side door of a rusty old truck she hopped in slamming the door behind her. They both rode in complete silence, which Kai was happy with.

It wasn't a long drive to the Southside. In no time they were pulling into the parking lot of the Whyte Worm. "You look like you're about to kill someone." Her dad chuckled.

Turning to him she glared, "Well I want to know why the hell no one tried to help me back at that damn fight."

Her dad gulped at the look in your eyes and laughed nervously, "We should head in." Without another word she yanked the door open and strode in causing the whole bar to turn and look.

"Jesus Kai you scared us." A relived voice came from behind the bar. She caught the eyes of Toni, her relived eyes met Kai's murderous ones.

"Sweet Pea and Fangs where are they?" She growled making her cast more visible. Toni nervously pointed towards the two scared looking boys standing over by the pool table.

She strode right up to them and slapped both of them once on the cheek. Grabbing both of them by the ears, she dragged them outside wanting an explanation.

"Ow ow ow!" Fangs complained as he was dragged. She pushed them down onto a bench outside of the bar, "Why was I left behind back there! I mean isn't that a serpent law!" She shouted angrily

. "I honestly thought you were behind the rest of us." Fangs admitted. Kai reached over and yanked on his ear hard.

"Ow ow stop!" He shouted.

"He's not kidding it looked like you had mantle back there so we didn't worry!" Sweet Pea exclaimed pushing her hand off on Fang's ear.

Meanwhile still in the bar

Everyone awkwardly dispersed back into their groups and continued what they were doing. Glancing at the door every so often when they heard a scream.

Kai's father scanned the crowd and found who he was looking for, "You must be Jughead." He said at the boy.

Looking up Jughead put down whatever was in his hands, "I am, who are you?"

He gave a huge grin, "I'm Kai's father Daniel I ran this joint with your father."
