I sat in my room, studying for my physics exam, the following day. I received a text from Arabella.
"I'm outside"
"What?!"
"I'm out side your house. Come out?"
"I can't. I'm studying for the physics test."
"You're gonna pass the test anyway so don't bother"
"Fine. I'll sneak out. See you in a bit."
I locked my bedroom door, to make sure my parents wouldn't find out about me sneaking out. I climbed out of my window and jumped down, hitting the grass below me with a thud.
"Hey Arabella" I said, becoming nervous as she walked towards me.
"Hood." She greeted me, taking a drag of her cigarette.
"So what was so urgent that you needed me to sneak out past my curfew?" I asked.
"Relax Cal, I just wanted to hang out" she explained
"At 11:30pm?!" I questioned
"Yeah, live a little" she replied, winking, before taking, another drag of her cigarette.
"So what are we doing then?" I said
"Well I had a few things planned. I was thinking we could make out, go for a walk, make out, talk, and maybe make out a little more" she told me, smirking.
"That seems like a great plan" I replied, grinning as I grabbed her hands, intertwining our fingers.
She pulled me closer to her, bringing me in to kiss her.
She wrapped her arms around my neck, deepening the kiss. I pulled away.
"As much as I'm enjoying this, I'd rather not continue in my garden" I confessed, smirking.
"Ok, let's go somewhere else." She said, taking my hand in hers and leading me out of my garden.
"Where?" I asked.
"The beach" she exclaimed, smiling.
"You made me sneak out in the middle of the night to come to the beach with you? That's so cliché" I told her, laughing.
"Shut the fuck up Hood." She said, smiling.
"Can you please stop calling me that? I'd prefer you to call me Calum, especially when you're screaming it later." I said smirking.
"woah, where's this sudden burst of confidence come from?" She asked, chuckling.
"I don't know, I just feel comfortable when I'm with you." I explained.
"And you say I'm cliché" she replied, rolling her eyes.
"So, how far is the beach from here?" I asked
"Like 5 minutes" she explained.
"Ok."

We sat on the sand, our fingers intertwined, watching the waves crash against the shore.
Arabella rested her head on my shoulder. The light breeze blew through her newly dyed pastel-pink hair.
"We really should be heading home now" I announced.
"Can't we stay a little longer Cal, it's not even that late" she whined.
"It's 1:30am! I need to get home" I told her.
"Ugh. Ok." She finally have in.
We walked back to Arabella's house, hand in hand.
We strolled up the path to her house and stood outside her front door.
"I'll see you tomorrow" I announced.
"You mean today" she said smirking, referring to the fact that it was now 1:45am.
I placed my hands on her hips and pulled her closer towards me. She leaned in, and instantly attached our lips. She swiped her tongue across my bottom lip, asking for entrance, to which I happily obliged. The kiss quickly became a lot more heated. We were pressed against her front door, enjoying a full on make out session. I stumbled backwards, jumping a little as the door opened, to reveal Michael.
"Ok, that's enough for tonight kids." He said, prying me away from his sister.
"See you later Arabella." I said, chuckling slightly.
"Bye Cal."
