I sat opposite Arabella, at a small table, tucked away in the corner of the coffee shop.
Arabella was engulfed in conversation with me, but I wasn't paying attention, I was too busy admiring how beautiful she looked today; her pink hair had faded a little and was scruffily tied into a pony tail. She wore a black Mayday Parade t-shirt, matched with one of my flannel shirts, ripped skinny jeans and black converse. She can make the most simple, and somewhat scruffy outfit, look amazing.
I took a sip of my coffee as Arabella took my other hand, tracing circles on my palm before lacing our fingers together.
"Cal...are you a virgin?"
I choked on my coffee at her sudden, and very personal question.
"W-what?" I asked. I felt my palms getting sweaty as I became more and more nervous.
"Are you a Virgin?" She asked again, simply.
"Well, uh.." I adjusted my glasses on the bridge of my nose, this was something that became a habit when I was nervous. ".. I, um, y-yeah." I stuttered, feeling my cheeks heat up. I was sure that my face was now bright red with embarrassment.
I would use the excuse that I haven't found the right girl yet, but that's not the case. It's because girls don't usually show any interest in me in the first place.
I'd only kissed one girl before Arabella, let alone had sex with anyone. My first kiss was Madison Rodgers. We dated for a week in 7th grade, and we kissed once or twice. She ended up breaking up with me, because "she didn't want to be tied down to one guy". It was 7th grade for fucks sake!
"So, uh, a-are you, a ...um, are you a virgin?" Mimicked her question.
"No." She replied simply.
I expected that answer. She's gorgeous and popular, of course she's had sex.
"I've had a lot of sex, but it never meant anything. It was just meaningless sex. I've never been in love, until now. I want something real, you know? I want to sleep with someone I love, not just someone I met in a club when I was drunk" she admitted.
It made me happy to know she's never been in love with anyone else. Then it hit me, did she just say she'd never been in love until now? Is she in love with me?
"So, you're currently in love?" I asked, gaining a little confidence.
"Cut the crap Hood, you know I love you." She said, rolling her eyes.
"So you're in love with me?" I teased, giggling.
"Don't push it Cal" she replied.
"Stop with the nick names. Please" I pleaded, jokingly.
"Make me." She said, smirking.
I raised my eyebrows, also smirking.
I leaned across the table and kissed her quickly, earning a smile from her.
"Ok, maybe I'll stop now." She agreed.
"Good" I said, placing my hand on her thigh under the table, tracing circles with my thumb.
"So... About the whole virgin thing..." She started.
Oh god. Please change this subject.
I felt myself become nervous again.
"Y-yeah, what about it" I asked.
"Do you want that to change?" She asked.
"W-what?" I stuttered.
"Well, you're a virgin...do you want that to change? Because I could change that for you." She said seductively, making me feel uneasy.
"Wait, what? Are you being serious?" I questioned.
"Yeah." She stated.
"wow, um...ok. Can we continue this conversation back at my place, I don't feel comfortable talking about this in public, there's children around." I said, barely over a whisper.
"You're in for one hell of a night, Hood." She said, smirking.
"I thought we agreed you'd stop with the nicknames!" I said, laughing.
"I think I'm gonna need a little more convincing."
