Hope For The One

Part 24- I wouldn't wish this on anyone!

i Erin's POV

Hearing Rachel tell me her and Joe were over broke my heart. She had just lost her baby, she can't lose Joe too!

Soon enough, Rachel fell asleep again so Jack and I walked through to the kitchen. 

"What are we going to do?!" Jack asked. 

"Call Joe and get him over here!" I said. "I don't care how you do it!"

I walked through to the bedroom. 

Jack's POV

I had to get Joe round here, not only for Rachel's sake, but for his too! I dialled his number. 

"What?!" Joe answered. 

"Joe, I know!" I said. 

Joe immediately broke down on the phone. 

"I can't believe it!" Joe sobbed. 

"I'm so sorry mate!" I said, sympathetically. 

"Is Rachel with you's?!" he asked. 

"Yeah" I answered. 

"Is she ok?!" Joe asked, sounding worried. 

"She's asleep on the sofa at the minute" I explained. 

"We're over!" Joe sobbed. "She told me we were done! I shouldn't have said the things I said!"

"Joe, you's both said stuff you's didn't mean, because you's are grieving! You're not going to let this break the relationship between you and the love of your life!" I said, sternly. "Now get here and show how much you love her!"

"I'll be five minutes!" Joe said and he hung up. 

I walked through to the living room to see Rachel was awake. 

"Hey, do you need anything?!" I asked her. 

"No thanks!" she said, giving a weak smile. 

Erin walked through. 

"Come on!" Erin said, pulling Rachel up. "Let's get you out of these wet clothes, get a shower and change!"

"Erin I-" was all Rachel could say before Erin interrupted her. 

"Just do it! Come on! It'll make you feel a bit better!" Erin said, giving a weak smile. 

Rachel nodded and the two of them headed to the bathroom. 

The doorbell rang. I walked to the door and opened it to see Joe, his faces tear stained and eyes blood shot. 

"Come on!" I said. "She's in the shower at the minute but after you's can talk!"

As Joe sat on the sofa, Erin walked through, immediately giving him a hug. 

I wouldn't wish this on anyone, especially my best friend!
