Erin's POV
I was just flicking through twitter when I heard loud, continuous thuds on the front door. I got up and walked to the door. It was pouring of rain outside! Who could it be?
I opened it to see Rachel, who immediately fell to her knees, sobbing to her hearts content.
"Hi Rac- What's wrong?!" I asked in a worried tone. I went down onto my knees next to her and hugged her.
"My b-baby!" she sobbed. "M-My baby's gone!"
Baby? What baby?!
"Jack!" I screamed of him and he ran through.
"Woah, what's wrong?!" Jack asked, concern spread across his face.
"I don't know! I just answered the door to see her like this!" I explained, panicking. "She's saying something about her baby being gone! What baby?!"
"Here!" Jack said. He moved over to Rachel and picked her up bridal style. He carried her over to the sofa and lay her down. I sat next to her and rubbed her back soothingly. I don't care that her clothes were soaking wet, my best friend needed me! Soon she fell asleep.
Rachel's POV
I woke up and realised I wasn't in my usual surroundings. Then everything hit me, I was in Erin and Jack's flat. I sat up and realised I was soaking wet. I found it difficult to get comfortable with still having cramping sensations in my stomach. I eventually got comfortable enough.
Erin and Jack came through and sat on the sofa across from me.
"Rachel, what happened?!" Erin asked, looking worried.
I wiped away the fresh tears.
"I had a miscarriage!" I sobbed.
"What, how?!" Jack asked.
"Joe and I were involved in a car crash yesterday!" I sobbed. "It caused me to miscarriage!"
"Oh my god!" Jack said.
"How long were you pregnant for?!" Erin asked.
"About a month!" I explained whilst sobbing. "I kept it to myself, in case people got angry. I told Joe I was pregnant seconds before the car crash!"
Erin came over to me and hugged me tight. I noticed her looking at my finger strangely.
"Rachel, where's your engagement ring?!" Erin asked.
I looked down at my finger.
"We had a row!" I sobbed. "We're over!"
