One month later
Rachel's POV
It was the day of the baby shower and gender reveal party! Today Joe and I are going to find out if our child is a boy or a girl! Either one will be amazing!
"I'm so excited!" I squealed and jumped next to Joe.
"You're crazy!" Joe laughed.
"But you love me!" I said and pecked him on the lips.
"Yes I do!" Joe laughed and pecked me on the lips.

Everyone arrived and piled into the house, from Zalfie and Jerin, to Joe's mum and Dad. There were so many people!
Everyone was handing gifts and we made them predict whether they think the baby will be a boy or a girl. Only Erin and Zoe said they think it's going to be a girl, whilst everyone else put they think it's a boy.
We all trekked into the back garden where we saw a big cardboard box labelled 'boy or girl?'.
Joe and I stood behind the box.
"Firstly i'd like to say thank you all for coming and sharing this moment with us!" I said, smiling.
"And also thanks for all the presents! We have enough baby grows to last for ages!" Joe laughed.
Everyone laughed.
"So, how this how it's going to go!" I said. "We're going to open the box which is filled with a bunch of balloons. The balloons will float up when we open it. If the balloons are blue, the baby is a boy. And if the balloons are pink, the baby is a girl!"
Everyone nodded.
"Right, we'll count down from ten all together!" I said.
Everyone began.

Joe and I opened the box, sending balloons to float up.
Pink balloons!
"Pink!" Erin squealed.
"It's a girl!" I half squealed, half sobbed.
Everyone squealed, clapped and jumped around.
I can't believe it!
"We're having a baby girl!" I squealed. "We're going to have a daughter!"
Joe and I jumped into a hug.
We're having a baby girl!
