"Pardon me, but you really hurt my feelings," I stated coldly. His eyes saddened. "Why me?" I asked. He stood quietly. "Why?!" I shouted. "Because I'm in love with you!" he exclaimed. "Why did you leave then?!" I yelled. "I had to!" he told me. "No. You didn't," I stated as I walked away.
