Crazy (Godt)

I thought I could get over it
Brushed you off my shoulder but now
I'm a mess
Every day is worse and the hurt is always bringing me down
Help me
'Cause I don't know if I can take it
I'm so tired of trying to fake it
Tell me you know
That I've been crazy all my life
I try to be cool but I want more
Now I'm standing right here at your front door
I need to know
That I've been crazy all my life
Crazy all my life
Crazy all my life By Daniel Powter

A ping from my phone woke me up. I fished my phone out of the front pocket of my jacket.

P'Rose- I've sent the schedule via email. Have a safe trip. See you when you get here.

It was my manager. She must mean our schedule for fan meeting rehearsals. I didn't reply nor check my mail. I sat back comfortably and sighed.

The car ride back is not tiresome, since I wasn't driving, but it was boring. I started flipping through my old messages. There are a lot of picture messages from my five co-stars, especially from Bas. Most of them are photo massages and audio massages. I laughed to myself seeing some of the silly photos from the little guy. Believe it or not, I miss them, especially Bas. The past three weeks had been very dreary with my family and friends back at home. I know I'm such a bad person. But I've gotten used to my new friends. They're fun to be with. I suddenly had this insane urge to see Bas, listen to his voice.

Without thinking too much, I was dialing his number.

"P'Godt, what a pleasant surprise....." He squealed. I moved the phone away from my ear a bit.

"Jesus Nong, do you have to be this loud." I winced.

"Sorry" He giggled.

"Are you drunk?"

"Not"

"You are."

"Am not." He sounded really bratty. I can picture him pouting. His upper lip is slightly bigger than the lower. I would know. I've spent enough time looking at them and kissing them too, at the set.

"P where are you? Are you close now?" I was shaken awake by Bas' voice. Now he doesn't sound drunk at all. "I wasn't drunk P. I was just pulling your leg." He giggled. This brat!

"I'll be there in 2 hours." I checked my watch. Traffic is not heavy. "Yeah, I'll be home by 2- 2.30p.m."

"When can I see you P, I miss you." God, this kid has no filter.

"How about dinner? I can pick you up at six?" I asked hesitantly, rubbing the back of my neck. Do I sound too eager?

"Yes P. I'll be ready. It's going to be awesome. Haven't seen you in ages." He prattled on happily. The kid has a pure heart. I flushed remembering my not so pure thoughts earlier.

"Yeah Nong, see you then."
