Part 2 (Bas)

I was awed the moment I set my eyes upon P'Godt at the audition. He stood tall and handsome among the other actors, he really stood up. I saw him the moment I entered the place and I couldn't help but go and talk to him. I was all alone but when I looked at his face I thought that this person is kind and gentle. And he really was very kind and helpful. He helped me understand lots of stuff. Little by little I developed this stupid crush on him, which I am afraid he might find out and end our friendship.

But I couldn't help it; he was perfect in every manner. At first, he was very serious and reserved, but when he got to know us all he became a very fun person to be with. The only problem is my silly crush. He would be disgusted if he knew that I'm crushing on him. I bet he has a long term regular girlfriend back at home. The thought really depresses me. But at least, I'm fortunate enough to have him as a co-star and a friend.

I was so scared that he would pick up on my mood at the last scene of 2moons. The blasted kissing scene we had to do repeatedly. I was so nervous and a little bit turned on. P'Godt, who normally so put together, was also out of it. We both kept on making mistakes after mistakes the director had to take about twenty takes.

By the time the last take was finished, my lips were swollen and red. I was so afraid that the staff will notice my boner. Luckily, I had a blanket to cover myself. But I've read on Google that it was totally normal to get turned on during intimate scenes that nobody cared. I wondered how P'Godt felt. I was afraid that he was disgusted to kiss a guy. But I couldn't really ask him that, could I?

I ran down the stairs shrugging on my denim jacket. I saw P'Kim's car parked near the sidewalk. My steps faltered when I saw P'Sprite, P'Kim's girlfriend sitting next to him, instead of P'Copter. Change of plans? I went in and opened the back door to find Copter sitting there grumpily. Sighing in relief I climbed on, I really didn't want to become the third wheel to P'Kim's date.

"Hey Bas" She greeted me while P'Kim nodded at me. I greeted her respectfully and nodded back at P'Kim.

"P'Cop, where's P'Tee?" I asked copter.

"He'll meet us there." He mumbled. When I looked at his face I saw that his eyes and nose are red. Has he been crying? I wondered.

"Are you alright P?" I whispered. He nodded and blinked his eyes. I looked up and caught P'Kim looking at him through the rearview mirror. The tension in the car is thick enough to cut with a knife. P'Sprite is prattling about something, clueless to the dilemma.

I gave a sigh of relief when we reached the movie theater. P'Tee's waiting for us with P'Mo, his girlfriend.

"Hey Nong." She smiled and pinched both my cheeks. I smiled sweetly at her. Girls normally treat me like I'm their unborn baby, instead of a potential love interest. I don't mind and I am used to it.

P'Tee had our pre-booked tickets and we rushed to the V.I.P. area.

Since the other two had dates, Copter and I had to sit together. I looked at his face and saw that his eyes are really red-rimmed and the nose is red too like he'd been crying for hours.

"Are you sure that you're okay?" I asked with a worried look.

"Yes, Nong I'm fine, really," He attempted to smile but failed.

"Hey, Cop, let's go buy some refreshments." P'Kim suddenly stood up.

"P?" Copter looked up puzzled.

"Come on" P'Kim urged and started walking away. Copter followed hesitantly. I looked at P'Tee. But he only shrugged.

"So Nong are you missing Godt already?" He teased.

"Aren't you missing P'Tea?" I fired back. "He went away too." I stuck my tongue at him. Out of all my friends, P'Tee and I goof around a lot. I am really friendly with P'Kim too. Two girls are chatting nonstop.

The film is about to start but P'Kim and P'Cop are still not here.

"Where are they?" I dug up my phone from the jacket pocket to give them a call. Right then they rushed in, carrying a few packs of potato chips and coke cans.

"How long does it take to buy a few packets of potato chips?" I grumbled.

"There was a long line," P'Kim said nonchalantly and dropped down beside his girlfriend. I felt P'Cop shift beside me. I looked at him sharply. His face has totally transformed. He seemed happy. No he's glowing. I am totally confused. What the fuck is happening?
