Me, Myself, and Vaughn

She finally jumped down and saw Perry. "Oh, my. I'm so rude. I didn't notice you. I'm sorry." She said.

"This is my wife, Vaughn. And Vaughn this is Perry. She'll be staying with us." said Doss. He has a wife. Great. How am I supposed to be with him now?

Perry gave her fakest smile.

"It's nice to meet you. We haven't had a visitor in a while. It'll be nice."

"Yes, nice." Perry reached out her hand to Vaughn. You're going down.

" No need for handshakes. You'll be staying here so no handshakes." Vaughn put her arms around Perry and squeezed tight. I hate hugs.

"You're so wet. Let's get you inside." She guided Perry into the house.

Perry was shivering. She was still very much wet and her hair was dripping."You can sit here. We'll be right back."Vaughn smiled. She walked out of the room and took Doss with her.

"What happened? You're both soaking wet. She was shaking in there." Vaughned asked.

"I was on my way home when I saw trying to kill herself. I tried to stop her but I startled her instead. She fell into the river. I got her out and was able to save her life. She said she had nowhere to go, so I took her here. She really has nowhere to go. A truck hit her car off the road and it fell into the river. She needed a pair of dry clothes and some love. She's so lost. She's also pregnant. She feels like she'll fail as a mother." Doss explained.

"She tried to kill herself? The poor girl. You're wrong though. She does have a place to go. It's here, with us. She can stay as long as she needs to."

"I was worried you would want alone time and she wouldn't be able to stay."

"Are you kidding me? I wouldn't miss a chance to save a soul. We do have to hide the knives, the ropes, and anything else that she could harm herself with. We can use the non-cut knives for a while."

"She also needs clothes. She doesn't have anything right now."

"She can wear mine tonight and I'll take her shopping in the morning."

"Thank you so much, sweetie. You're a lifesaver." He kissed her passionately.

"Correction, you're the lifesaver." She kissed him back.

They started to walk back into the room. Perry ran back to her seat. She didn't want them to know she has been listening.

"So we decided you can stay as long as you like. "

"Thank you. I don't feel as hopeless now." Perry put her hand on her head. She sighed. Tears started rolling through.

Vaughn ran over to her and hugged her. "I know you're working out some demons right now but know we're here for you." She caressed her back.

"How about we get you out those wet clothes?"

"I guess." Perry followed Vaughn.

"I'll make dinner, okay?"

"Okay,sweetie," Vaughn replied.

Vaughn took her to their room. Vaughn opened a closest. "I was pregnant once. Well twice. Not for me, I guess." A tear fell. She wiped it away quickly. "I still have the clothes. I always hoped it would work out for me but it can go to another. To you." She smiled. Her smile wasn't genuine. It was filled with sadness Perry never seen before. A thick silence fell upon them.

"I- uhmm...Like this one." Perry grabbed a shirt. She placed it against her.

"It'll look cute on you." Vaughn tried to be positive. "With these shorts."

She handed them to Perry.

"Thanks. I'll cherish it."

"I know you will. Let me show you to your room so you can change."

The room was quite big and decorated beautifully. "It's beautiful," Perry stated.

"Thanks, I used to be a decorator. Bye for now." Vaughn closed the door as she walked out. I guess this is our new home baby. We're here with a hot babe .......and his wife.
