Chapter 3

Fast forward to December 25th

I wake up very tired and sad. My mom hasn't come home yet. I walked to Camerons room with my eyes half open.

"Hey Cam" I say walking into his room.

"Hey" he mumbled.

I laid in bed with him for a while.

"I'm home!" I hear someone yell downstairs.

I jump up.

"Mom!!" I yell running downstairs.

"Hi sweetie!, Merry Christmas!" she says in a tight hug.

"Merry Christmas. I love you!" I say in a hug as Cameron runs downstairs.

"Mom!" he yells as they hug.

"I love you Cammy" She says smiling.

After that we all exchange gifts and listen to Christmas music.

~ Fast Forward to New Year's Eve ~

My mom is on a business trip once again so I'm with all the guys tonight. We were all at Nash's house for a party. I was just sitting on the couch on my phone when someone sat next to me.

"Hey baby girl" They said as I turned to see Hayes.

"Hey" I said with a smile.

"Look, Ellie I love you so much and I've waited since we were 5 for you to like me. I've always had a secret crush on you. I was wondering Ellie.. Would you do the honors and go out with me.?" Hayes asks holding my hand.

"M..Me?" I ask shocked.

"Yes you Ellie." He says holding my jaw.

"Id love too! But Cameron." I say sighing.

"Let's go tell him." he says standing me up.

We walk over to Cam and Nash horribly twerking.

"Cam!" I yell over the music.

"Yeah what's up?" He asks turning around.

"Is it ok with Ellie and I to go out.?" Hayes asks looking at me with a smile.

I smile and raise my eyebrows.

"Yeah I'm fine with that." He says smiling.

"YAY! Thanks Cam I love you." I say giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Love you too Ellie. Be good with Ellie got it." Cam says to Hayes.

"I will." he says hugging me.

Me and Hayes hold hands and walk over to Taylor and Carter.

"Yooo" Carter says to Hayes as they do a handshake thing.

Hayes holds my hand again.

"Woah. y'all dating?" Taylor asks almost yelling.

"Yeah." I blush.

"COUNTDOWN IN 30 SECONDS!!" Cameron tells looking at the TV across the room.

It's 9 seconds before 12:00 and Hayes asks me something after he walks me into the hall.

"Ellie will you be my New Years kiss?" he asks holding both my hands.

"Of course!" I smile.

"3, 2, 1!!!" Cameron yells in the other room.

Hayes turns to me and crashes his lips into mine. He bites my bottom lip and I slightly moan. All I can feel is the kiss but I hear people in the background shout "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!". Were still kissing. I put my hands behind his ears and he moves his hand down to my lower waist just above my butt.

Hayes pulls away.

"That was the best kiss I've ever had." I smile.

"Your amazing." Hayes says pulling me closer to him.

Our noses are touching and we're smiling. We grab hands and walk back into the room with everyone eating random food and drinking.

~ 4 AM ~

"Ok bye guys!" Cam says waving before closing the door.

"We're gunna have to clean this up ya know." I point to the mess and look at Cameron.

"Yeah I know." He says rolling his eyes.

I start walking to my room.

"Hey I saw you and Hayes in the hallway." Cam says staring at me.

"And..." I turn around.

"You guys are really cute." He smiles.

"Thanks Cam." I say walking away again.

"Night Ellie I love you." Cameron says as I turn the corner.

"Night I love you too Cammy." I yell from my room.

I walk into my room and take off my clothes and change into a sweater, yoga shorts, and fuzzy socks. I literally jump into my bed and call Hayes.

"Hey baby." I say as he answers the phone.

"Hey" he says into the phone.

"I love you." I say smiling.

"I love you too babe." he says back.

"You sound tired so I'll let you go, night love you Hayes." I say rubbing my eyes.

"Yeah you too, night love you too Ellie bug." he says and I hang up.

I plug in my phone and turn around falling asleep.
