Chapter 6

Hia!! How's the story?? 😏 I also want to state that "Ellie lives in LA" so in December around New Years and Christmas it's not cold so yes she was wearing shorts. Merci Beau Coup.

The next morning I wake up and feel a burst of excitement rush over me. I jump out of bed and head to the bathroom. Cameron's there hogging the sink.

"Cam, scoot" I say trying to grab my toothbrush.

"Sorry" he says leaving

I brush my teeth then get dressed. I pick out a Brandy Melville crop top and some dark wash Abercrombie shorts along with my white converse. For makeup I apply my mascara and lipgloss then brush out my straight hair and lightly curl it with a wand.

Cameron walks in.

"Hey I know your gettin purdy and all but me and the guys are going out for lunch and then chillin at the mall, wanna come?" He asks.

"Yeah sure. When we leaving?" I ask.

"Like 25 mins or something." He says smelling his arm pits and making a funny face.

"Ok I'll be ready soon." I laugh.

He shuts the door and leaves, then I finish curling my hair and grab my phone to see 8 more messages from Hayes, 3 from Shawn, and 1 from Matt. I slide to unlock my phone and look at the text from Matt.

"Morning beautiful 😊💕"

"Morning! 😊"

"You coming today? 🙈"

"Yeah for sure! 👌"

"Okay see you then 😉"

"See you then"

I go back to messages and wonder why Shawn texted me.

"Yo, what's up with you and Hayes?"

"You know what. Nvrmind that's not my buisness."

"You there? lol."

I just read them and don't reply. Same with the ones from Hayes.

"Ell lets go!!" Cam yells from downstairs.

I take my phone and wallet while spraying some perfume on before jogging downstairs.

"Ready." I say walking out the door.

We get into Cams car and drive to the mall. Once we get there we go to the food court and I just get a baja blast freeze from Taco Bell and we meet up with the guys.

"Hey!" I say seeing Matt.

"Hey Ellie" he says hugging me.

I say hey to everyone else except Hayes who is alone. We all sat down and somehow Matt made his way right next to me. I just smiled. Me and him took some selfies which definitely made Hayes mad and posted them on Instagram.

I just kinda walked off and went shopping since they weren't. I first went to PINK and bought 3 bras then to Abercrombie for shorts and lastly Brandy Melville. My second home. I was looking at some rings when someone grabbed my waist.

"Hey baby girl." Matt says swinging me around.

"Hey! You scared me." I say laughing.

"I knew I could find you here." he says looking around.

"Yep. You always can." I say turning around.

"Wait, the reason why I came here is so I can talk to you." He says smiling.

"Okay." I smile back as he takes my hand.

We walk through the mall and sit on a bench.

"I really want to understand what we meant least night." he says sitting down.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"When we said I love you" he says looking down scratching his neck.

"Oh. That" I say smiling.

"Did we mean it?" he asks me.

"Did you?" I ask.

"Yeah I did Ellie. Did you?" he asks anxiously.

"Matt, you know what?" I say

"What?" he asks

"I did." I say smiling.

"But your only 14." He says looking down.

"So what? Your only 2 years and 4 months older than me." I say stating the facts.

"That's true." he says.

"I don't think we should quite yet date. Maybe a secret kinda thing?" I say

"That's a good idea" he says standing up.

I just give him a hug and smile. We walk back to the guys and I see out of the corner of my eye ; Hayes coming up to me.

"Hey Ellie can we talk?" He asks.

"About what?" I ask turning around.

"Us." he says looking into my eyes.

"Yeah." I say going with him.

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"Hmmm. Let me see! You bring a stupid bitch that was "an old friend" to the carnival with us which I had to sit in the back. Then you kiss her and hold her hand?! Then you come back crying to me saying your sorry? I have a brain you know. I do." I say pointing a finger toward him.

"Look Ellie. I'm sorry. Kathy was my ex girlfriend from 6th grade. She is crazy! I never meant for that to happen, I love you and it sucks not talking to you everyday."

"Maybe you should have thought of that before Kathy." I say walking away feeling a ton off my shoulder.

I walk back up to the guys and we hang out for a while and just talk until we leave. It's about 9:57 and I brush my teeth, put on some shorts and a tank top then get into bed and text Matt.

"Night Ellie 😊💕"

"Night Matty 😊💞"

After that I fall asleep.
