Chapter 5

Hey guys! I just arrived at Michigan around 6 today! hope your enjoying the story!

What's funny is that I'm Hayes girlfriend yet I'm sitting in the back and Kathy and him are up infront.

"I'm so excited for the carnival!" Kathy says laughing.

I realize she's wearing Abercrombie shorts and a blue tank top with a cheetah bra which is totally noticeable and a hot pink lace tong which yes, I can see from behind her which is uncomfortable..

"Yeah me too. How bout you Ellie?" Hayes asks looking back at me.

"Yeah" I say looking out the window.

We get out and I see Cameron, Nash, Matt, Jack J, Jack G, Carter, And Taylor. I guess some guys didn't wanna come.

I run to them and leave Kathy and Hayes to get out of the car.

"Hey guys!!" I say as they turn around.

"Hey Ellie bug." Matt says smiling.

"Hey what's up?" Asks Cam.

"Nothing. You guys?" I ask.

"Just walking around." Carter says.

"Let's go get tickets!" Matt says grabbing my hand and running.

We walk up to the booth and ask for 100 tickets.

"That's about $30" the old lady says.

I pull out a $20 bill and Matt pulls out a $50.

"I'll pay." he says blushing.

"Thanks matty boo" I laugh.

We take the tickets and I turn around to see Kathy laughing and lightly slapping Hayes shoulder. Hayes smiles and turns to her. It looks like they were about to kiss until Matt pulled my hand again.

"Let's go on rides. Forget them." He says smiling.

I turn around and see them hold hands.

My heart breaks.

"How about the predator??!!" He asks excitedly.

I just look down. Matt pulls my chin up with his thumb and kisses my cheek. I blush and pull him into a hug.

"Thanks Matt." I say smiling as we walk to the predator.

"Anything for my baby" he says holding my hand.

We get on the ride for 4 tickets and then get off after about 1 1/5 mins.

At about 8 we get hungry and buy a strawberry funnel cake.

"Thanks allot Matt. I love you so much." I say as we sit on benches and eat funnel cake.

"I love you too Ellie." He says looking at me and smiling.

Did he mean it? Did I mean it? All these things rushed to my head and then I open my eyes to realize in smiling like an idiot.

"You okay?" He asks laughing.

"Perfectly fine." I say back.

We walk back to the group of guys at 9:56 to leave the carnival. I get in the car with the guys, get home and fall asleep thinking of Matt. Not Hayes at all once. Hayes has texted me 16 times since we left but I haven't replied.
