I just got out of my doctor appointment, and i am officially 2 months and half. Excited, kinda? I don't even know how to feel at this moment. I had a whole dream and then it was crushed but i can't blame it on the baby because its not their fault. Hopefully there's a good outcome.
I picked up my phone and dialed Benjamin number, we have been talking more lately since he was my stepbrother and basically was family
"wassup kid?" I rolled my eyes
"Can you pick me up" I heard movement in the background
"Ii, bet send me the addy" he said referring to address, and then i hung up and send it to him
At this point of my pregnancy i'm supposed to be experiencing sickness, but i only threw up once in a while.
I heard a horn beep, I looked up and saw Benjamin
I got in, greeting him
"How did it go?" He asked while driving off the hospital parking lot
"It well good, the baby its healthy so far" He nodded
"You have your vitamins?"
"Yeah, I just got it refill the other day"
"You going home?"
"Um take me to my grandmas" he gave me a side eye look
"You barely be at your crib, why?"
"I just like spending time with my grandparents" i told him not wanting to tell him the real reason, even though its true i love spending time with them but somethings are better left unsaid
"Alright b"
Throughout the ride, we made small talk from here and there
Once we arrive at my grandma's house, I thank him and gave him a side hug and got out the car walking to my grandma building.
Once i made it to his door, I open it with my spare key
When i step in the smell of food hit my nostrils, my grandma noticed me
"Yo no sabia que tu venia" (I aint know you were coming) she said after she paused the music
"I had to come and see my favorite person in the world" she hummed giving me a look before getting to cook
"How's your mom?"
"She's good, I barely get to see cause I'm always here or she's working"
"Does she know"
"Ummm no, not planning to tell her till later on"
"Well if anything happens let me know" I nodded my head, and helped her around the kitchen
The front door open, and my brothers walked in
"Hello family" Ricky said excitedly
"You in a good mood today"
"I just got accepted to college and hopefully will be working on some projects with Ben"
"I'm pround of you" I said hugging him
"Keep it up" my grandma said smiling
"He better" Joshua include it
"What about you, got a girl yet?" I asked Joshua, and he chuckled
"Mind your business, how's my niece or nephew?"
"He or she is doing good, so you just not going to tell me?" he gave me a look and shake his head walking away, well I guess that's a yes, maybe.
