“Set it up. How am I supposed to set that up, I barely even talk to any of them.” Alyson continued to complain to Elijah. He sat there quietly in front of the apple laptop listening to Alyson. As much as he tried thinking of a plan for her, he just couldn’t find one. Why would the principle even accuse Alyson for the cheese thing? Come on now…this was ALYSON!

“I’ll come along with you to gather the girls if you’d like.” He offered her.

“I just need help finding them…” Alyson trailed off thinking of where those four separate girls would even be during lunch. She shook her head frustrated and returned to messing around with the video she had in front of her on the laptop. It was their first lesson and they got to just explore the video editing website for today.

“You have Jasmine’s number, so that’s one girl down.” Elijah reassured his troubled friend.

“What about the other ones.” Alyson was now frustrated; she wasn’t the type of girl to pay attention to others around her, besides her friends. Before that meeting in the principal’s office, she didn’t even know that Victoria or Trinity even existed.

“Well….we’ll find them during lunch don’t worry.” Elijah sat up in his seat and starting taking a look at his own laptop screen.

“I just want this movie to be over with.” Alyson groaned.

Victoria pushed through the crowds of kids to get to her next class. In all honesty, she didn’t mind being late for third period…that was nothing but torture anyway. But, today was their second day of school; it wouldn’t look that good on her records if she was starting to be late from now. She pushed back her long grown out bangs back towards to side of her head.

Soon enough she was right there in the class. Physics, this was not going to pretty. She looked around the classroom and saw the rest of the students there already filling the back seats. Why wouldn’t they, nobody wanted to be in the front to begin with. But now for physics, that just doubles that hatred. She walked slowly to the middle row of the classroom. Putting down her bag to the side she sat down and pulled out her I-pod to switch the song that was playing.

The bell starting third period rang and all the students scurried to their seats. “Take out your books and turn to page 17. Please read the introduction to chapter one while I take role.” Mr. Films called to the class.

Victoria opened her book and read through the page with her eyes at the speed of light. She sat back in her chair when she was done and opened her I-pod starting to fiddle with it.

        “Victoria Hale.”

“Here.” She raised her hand weekly and Mr. Films looked up to see where the sound was coming from. “You are requested at the principals office. Leave your things, you will be back.”

The principals office again? What did she want this time…wait a second. Who was she to complain, anywhere was better than this torture chamber. She jumped out of her seat and pushed her I-pod back into her backpack before leaving the bag on her now vacant chair and making her way to the office.

When she got there the door was already set ajar. She walked in and found the same four girls from last time all seated. Must be waiting for her, well she was the special one who wouldn’t wait. She laughed to herself at her humor but made sure to not show but a small smile on her face.

“Close the door behind you.” Mrs. Mead called to Victoria. She did as she was told and took her seat by the door right next to Trinity.
