“Why would they make such a torturous class?” Victoria groaned putting on her shorts and t-shirt. If there was another class that she hated…it had to be P.E. She cursed herself for not taking the class earlier in her high school years but there wasn’t much that she could do now.
Trinity jumped over to Victoria who just slipped on her running shoes.
“It’s going to be so much fun.” She continued jumping.
Fun, was this girls definition of fun put on backwards. There was no fun in physical activity that was done outdoors in the burning sun. How was the whitening soap supposed to work now? She was way too hot to leave on her long sleeves, she would die in those. She sighed and grabbed the sunscreen bottle that she had at the corner of the bench and began applying the first layer.
Macy walked over to the group of two girls and smiled, “Come on Victoria aren’t you the least bit excited.”
“Is there food?” Victoria asked. Macy and Trinity both looked at each other with confused looks.
“No?” Macy said slowly.
“Then I don’t see where all this excitement is coming from.” Victoria said apply a second coat of sunscreen onto her hands. She hadn’t even started with her legs yet.
Macy rolled her eyes, “Oh please, enough of that stuff come on now.” She pulled onto Victoria’s arm but it was a bit slippery so she needed help. Her eyes met with Trinity’s who nodded her head and grabbed Victoria’s other wrist. The three girls created a scene in the girls changing rooms pulling Victoria along with them outside to the field. Once out there they released Victoria’s hands which went straight back to trying to grab some of the access sun screen on her arms and apply them to her legs.
Rolling her eyes she threw her arms up and gave up, “Screw it, what do we have to do first?” Victoria said loudly.
Trinity started explaining the concept of dodge ball while Victoria looked at her suspiciously…she knew what dodge ball was, the only problem was that she didn’t want to do it.
“Right Macy?” Trinity finished.
“Wait, huh what?” Macy looked back at the girls. They looked at her suspiciously then averted their eyes quickly to the direction that Macy was staring into. When the two looked back at her they had sly smiles on their faces.
“Macy, I need some shade.” Victoria cried helplessly throwing her hand over her forehead, “I might get a heat stroke.”
“Yea, me too I’m thirsty I was water.” Trinity said nodding her head. They looked at Macy who was staring back at them smiling.
“I guess I can’t let you die of thirst, or you faint….so lets’ go.” She smiled at the two already knowing what they were up to, but she didn’t mind. Their smiles were enough to give them away anyway though. They walked over to the shade that was the location right by the football players. And in the corner of the crowd there was non-other than Mark. He was busy in conversation with the guys about his next game but as soon as he saw Macy walk by (she didn’t even give him the time of day, acting like she didn’t even notice him at all) he left the group of guys and followed her.
The three girls stopped in front of the water fountain when Macy felt the warm arm wrap around her waist.
Se was greeted by a small peck on the cheek before turning around to embrace the hug that Mark was offering her. Trinity and Victoria slowly back away like creepers leaving the couple alone.
