Macy kept her phone closed so not to hear from anyone. She didn’t want to talk to either of her friends. They didn’t even notice the change in her silence…but, it was fine. She was better right now alone anyway.
Her arms steered her farther into the unknown streets. Where was she even going? She looked at her map frustrated. Why did she enter some place that she didn’t even know that well?! Ugh, it’s what happens to her when she’s upset and not thinking straight. Then again, this was all her fault. She was the one to blame for all of this.
Mark…even though they had JUST broke up, honestly that wasn’t what was bothering her. What was bugging her was that she held on so long to someone that wasn’t him. Macy wasn’t an idiot. She didn’t go directly for the drunk party guys….the nice sweet ones. The ones that have a purpose in life. That was the old Mark, that she still believed she was dating.
The tears burst slowly in her eyes blinding her from the street ahead. She quickly wiped them away with the back of her hands in order to be able to see the road and not lead herself into a car accident. Hey phone continually received message after message, but thanks to her idea of closing it she didn’t get any of them.
Jasmine woke up the next morning her eyes puffy and her nose still stuffed. Was she crying in her sleep? My goodness she could be such a baby. She got up and took a quick shower making sure to wash her face continually with the warm water. When she got out she was greeted by her mother who said that her dad as going to be discharged today and he was coming home.
As soon as she was given the news she was instructed to start cleaning the house making sure to leave it spotless for when her dad came back, because they had a hospital patient waiting to be aided in any way. It was her father though, so she was still happy that he was coming home even though a part of her still sulked at what had happened yesterday.
While cleaning she made sure to keep her cell phone next to her because Alyson and Trinity were nonstop texting her for updates. A part of her felt bad every time she replied to Alyson, who was still worried sick about Elijah…the worst part was that she didn’t know he was in the hospital. Trinity had convinced her last night not to call his parents, and that everything was probably fine. Which was probably not the right thing to do - since here he was NOT fine and his own best friend couldn’t be there for him? Jasmine shook her head of the thoughts she had enough going on she didn’t need even more. Her dad was coming home, and this house still had a lot to be done for.
Zayn sulked at the park were Jasmine and him last had their soccer practice. The wind gently blew back his hair that he didn’t even bother to brush that morning. His dad had come back yesterday from the hospital and said that the family was going to go visit his friend soon because he was going to be released. Zayn didn’t want to visit anyone; he wasn’t in the mood to even speak.
His phone rang dragging him out of his thoughts. He grabbed it open without even looking at who was calling.
“Yo.” He answered.
“Dude where have you been?” Lorenzo’s voice echoed through.
“Places?” Zayn didn’t understand what Lorenzo was so worried about anyway, it’s not like…
“I’ve been calling you nonstop and you don’t answer.” Okay, there we go that’s what his issue was.
“Sorry.” Zayn mumbled. Lorenzo noticed that something was up in his tone of voice.
“Where are you right now?” He asked him grabbing his car keys and ready to head out the door. Zayn gave him the address of the park and ended the call quickly. Now all his peace and quiet was going to be gone. He might as well enjoy as much of it as he can.
