Friday morning sun gleamed through the windows of Elijah’s room. He was in such a horrible mood today because he knew that Alyson had her surfing lessons with Larry. The thought of her back with him made his feel helpless.

Alyson burst into his room in a matter of seconds though.

“You’re here early?” He looked at her then the clock.

She smiled and sat down on his computer chair, “Do you not want me here?” She asked him.

Elijah shook his head continually, “No of course not I love having you here I was just wondering…” He stuttered.

“I was just joking.” Alyson teased Elijah smiling at him, “I’m here early because I have surfing lessons earlier today since there’s no school.” She explained. Elijah’s face fell again at the sound of hearing that she was going back to those lessons.

“You are really good, you should quit now.” He told her. She shook her head.

“I will not quit you weirdo, I need to be perfect. Not just good.” She beamed.

“You push yourself too much.” Elijah grumbled. Alyson smiled getting out of her seat and jumping onto his bed.

“I learn from the best.” She said leaning over his body. Elijah felt like he couldn’t breath because of how close they were his heart immediately started racing when he realized that their lips were inches away but Alyson backed up again sitting back down.

She lightly patted his leg, “How are you feeling today?”

Elijah tried calming his heart rate, she was back to normal now…he needed to stop these illusions.

“I am fine, in fact I want a favor from you.” He said looking at her quietly.

“What is it?” She smiled ready to do anything for Elijah.

“Let me go to the surfing lesson with you.”

Jasmine pushed past her room and into the kitchen where she put together a quick breakfast for her and her sister. Angelina settled with dinosaur chicken while Jasmine popped to pieces of bread to toast and be ready for her grape jelly.

The oil took a while to heat so as she waited she grabbed her phone and looked at the new messages she had -Victoria, Trinity and Zayn. She rolled her eyes at the last text but replied to her friends before dropping the raw pieces of breaded chicken into the heated oil.

Her phone vibrated as soon as she plopped the last piece of meat into the cooking oil. She grabbed the phone open and viewed the message. It was from Rebecca…hmm how random. Jasmine quickly viewed it to see what she wanted.

“Hey Jasmine :)”

“Hey.”

Jasmine pulled the food out of the oil and into a plate that she had covered with a napkin to soak up the oil. As soon as all of them were on the plate she passed it over to her sister and handed her the ketchup bottle. Quickly pulling out her toasts into her plate and grabbed her phone to check the next messages.

“I miss you girl.”

“It’s been a while.” She looked at her screen confused to why Rebecca would miss her now.

“Why don’t we hang out today?” Jasmine stared at the text for a while before being able to reply.

“Just give me a location and I’ll see what I can do.”
