“We finished.” Jasmine said for the fiftieth time. The five girls gathered around the DVD that was placed in a silver cover.
“Is this a dream?” Trinity asked not believing her eyes. After all their hard work in finally paid off.
“I can pinch you so we can check.” Alyson playfully took out her fingers and Trinity jumped.
“Meany butt.” She grunted and the girls giggled.
“Can we turn it in already?” Macy just wanted to get this done with completely. Having the movie done was one thing. Turning it would just complete the whole deal.
“A couple weeks early too, we so amazing.” Victoria winked. Jasmine nodded grabbing the DVD.
“I’ll turn it in and meet you guys later. Zayn’s coming back with my milkshake.” She smiled taking the movie in her hand.
The girls all nodded and went their separate ways. Jasmine tugged on the sweater she had on her. Even though it wasn’t cold that day she still kept it so she could have the smell of Zayn everywhere she went. On her way to the principal’s office she was stopped by Rebecca who jumped out of nowhere.
“Jasmine girlie!” She faked a smile and ran up to hug her. Jasmine was confused my the notion since Rebecca hadn’t spoke to her in a while now but just hugged back slowly with a weak smile.
“Hey.” She said quickly wanting to escape already.
“Have you chosen your prom dress yet?” She asked looking down at the DVD in Jasmine’s hand.
“Yep, can’t wait for next week.” Jasmine smiled holding the case tightly in her grip.
“Is that the completed movie?” Rebecca asked hoping that the answer was ‘no’.
“Sure is.” Jasmine beamed not believing it herself that they were done and going to pass senior year.
“Oh…” Rebecca’s face dampened, “Hey how about we meet up today after school?” She asked slyly. Jasmine shrugged her shoulders.
“Zayn and I…”
“Greet so, meet me in the cafeteria at 4:00.” Rebecca left without a second thought. Today was Jasmine’s Friday though…she didn’t want to waist it waiting around school for a whole hour. She rolled her eyes but went into the principal’s office and turned in the movie. Walking out right on her path came Zayn.
“Hey gorgeous.” He smiled wrapping and arm around her waist while they walked.
“Milkshake?” Jasmine laughed taking the chocolate one out of his hand and kissing his cheek.
“Did you turn it in?” He asked her taking a sip of his coke. Jasmine nodded letting the cool taste of the creamy ice cream slither down her throat.
“All done.” She said when she swallowed her first taste.
Zayn nodded with a smile glad that it was finally over and that they had more time to hang out now, “Where are the girls?” He already missed his shorite who he didn’t get to see all day.
“Trinity is probably with Vincent by now.” Jasmine informed him knowing which one he was asking about.
“What about Mace?” Zayn pestered. Jasmine smiled at the nickname.
