I went into school the next day happier than ever.

I walked into my classroom and took my spot at my desk next to Gabby and Sarah.

"Morning." I said.

"Morning Lyric." Sarah said.

"Hi ya!" Gabby said.

"Okay let's get started! Pull out your math workbooks and turn to page 7 children." Mrs.Hay said.

I was walking towards recess when a girl shot me a nasty look.

I didn't know her name but I knew she was trouble.

I walked pass her but she grabbed my arm and pulled me towards her.

This is when I realized her features.

She had dark blue orbs and was very tall for our age group. She had long blonde hair tied back into a neat braid.

She was wearing a pink dress with a blue ribbon. I was over here with my hair done in a messy bun and wore ripped skinny jeans with an American flag t-shirt.

"Hi. I'm Julia!" She said.

"L-lyric" I said my nervous stutter made her chuckle.

"Nervous aren't cha?" Julia asked.

"No." I sounded as confident as I could be.

"Sure. Listen I'm adopted too. I get where your coming from. Im telling you right now if you think you can run this town and grade you can't! Try to and you will be sorry! See ya!" Julia said.

"Okay. What's your full name?" I asked.

"What's yours?" she asked back.

"Lyric Crystal Pottorff." I said.

"Julia Rose Hemmings." Julia said.

"Okay bye." I said.

"Don't get nervous too much around me you seem nice." Julia said.

I walked out to recess.

It was time for pickup and I saw Sam talking to Demi Lovato?!

I saw Gabby run right to her.

"Mommy this is Lyric!" Gabby said.

"Hi! I'm Demi!" Demi said.

"I'm a big fan." I said.

Then I saw Sarah run to Niall Horan?!

"Daddy this is Lyric!" Sarah said.

"Hi! Lyric I'm Niall!" Niall said.

"So who's house are all the girls going to?" Sam asked.

"How bout they go to mine?" Demi asked.

"Yea that works." Sam and Niall said.

"Next house is ours though." Sam said.

"You got it." Demi said. 

I waved and jumped in the car so excited to see there houses.
