Bad Reputation (Shawn Mendes)

Me and Syd headed into town to find me a dress for the Ball.
"When are you going to tell Shawn that you said yes to Tom?" She asked whilst looking through different dresses.
"I'll tell him tonight, he's not going to be happy about it but it's my decision."
I picked out three dresses. My favourite was a burgundy v neck dress with 2 thin slits at the bottom (shown in the picture above). After we purchased the dress we found shoes to match and then came home. I sent Shawn a text asking him to come over so I could show him the dress. He sat on my bed whilst I put the dress on in the bathroom. I quickly pinned my hair back  and then headed to the door. "Are you ready?" I shouted.
"Yep." He replied back.
I pushed down on the handle and then walked out. Shawn's face dropped as soon as he saw me. I stood in front of him and waited for a moment. "What do you think?"
He stood up. "You look amazing."
I turned around and showed him the back. "The back has a really cute cross pattern aswell." I turned back around. "And it's the perfect length for a ball so it's not too formal."
He moved closer to me and put his hands around my waist. "I think you look stunning."
He moved his mouth to my ear and whispered "And sexy.."
I smiled and then kissed him. "Thank you."
He began to kiss my neck but I had to tell him about Tom so I stopped him. "I'm going to the ball with Tom."
He stopped and let go of my waist. "I thought I said I didn't want you to go with him."
"I know you did but it's what I want."
He backed away from me. "So you didn't listen to a word I said."
"I did listen to what you said but this is my decision and I'm going with Tom whether you like it or not."
He didn't say anything he just sighed and then left slamming the door behind him.

Day of the Ball
I finished off my hair and makeup and then put on my dress. I adjusted it in the mirror and then met the others. We made our way over to school and waited for the bus a group of us hired to take us to the venue. All the girls took pictures and I posted one of the candid ones of us all laughing to my Snapchat with the caption 'much love'. Shorty after Tom arrived so I took a quick selfie with him and posted with the caption 'Summer Ball💛'.
Once the bus arrived and we all sat down I opened my Snapchat back up and looked to see who had seen my story. Shawn was the first one. I pressed the home button and then rang him. The call rang twice and then cut off. He clearly doesn't want to talk to me. Me and Shawn haven't actually spoken since I told him I said yes to Tom taking me to the Ball. I hated not talking to him but I'm not going to let it ruin tonight so I put my phone away. Once we arrived we were given a glass of non alcoholic bubbles and then we took a few more pictures before heading inside to take our seats. Tom pulled my chair out for me so I could sit next to him.
"Thank you." I said before sitting down.
We all spoke between us until our food was served. I ordered the chicken option and Tom ordered the steak. After everyone finished their meals a few of the teachers made some speeches congratulating everyone for finishing our exams. Once all the speeches were over everyone chatted amongst themselves. Emma even came over and spoke to me and Tom for a little bit. After Emma spoke to us Tom asked me if I wanted to go for a little walk with him so I said yes. We walked around grounds and it was getting dark so all the fairy lights turned on. We walked around for a bit until we approached a seating area that was surrounded by trees with lights wrapped around them. I took a few photos before sitting down. I admired the view before Tom spoke up. "I have something to tell you."
"What's that?"
He took a deep breath. "I think I'm bisexual."
I didn't say anything for a moment.
"I've been talking to a guy from school for a while now and we made it official yesterday."
I didn't know what to say.
"If you could say something that would be great."
I smiled and then pulled him in for a hug. "I'm really happy for you, thank you for telling me."
He smiled.
"Have have you told anyone else?" I asked.
"Only Syd and my Mom."
I held his hand. "I'm proud of you, that couldn't of been the easiest thing to do."
"I feel like such a weight has been lifted off my shoulders yanno?"
I nodded.
"I feel like I'm finally becoming comfortable with who I am."
I smiled. "I'm so glad to hear."
He took my hand in his."Thank you for being my date tonight, I know it hasn't been easy on you and Shawn."
"Thank you for inviting me." I kissed him on the cheek and then had to rub the lipstick mark off with my thumb.
He stood up and put his hand out. "Shall we go back and dance."
I took his hand. "I'd love to."
When we got back almost everyone was on the dance floor. We joined Gabby and the others and began to dance.
