Bad Reputation (Shawn Mendes)

I answered the last question on the paper and put my pen down. I looked up and everyone was still writing. I double checked my answers once more before closing the booklet. My eyes met with Shawn. "How did you do?" He mouthed to me. I shrugged my shoulders, I answered all the questions but I had absolutely no idea if they were correct. Once the bell went everyone got up to leave. "Jazz, can I have a word." Mr Jacobs called across the classroom
I collected my stuff and then headed over to his desk. He pulled out a chair. "How did you get on?"
I sat down. "I think I did okay."
"Well I'm going to mark your test next lesson so come and see me at lunch."
"Will do." I left the room and headed towards Shawn who was waiting outside.
"What did he say?" He immediately asked.
"He's marking my paper next lesson and I've got to go back to see him at lunch."
"So hes going to tell you your result then?"
"No idea but I haven't been this nervous in a while."
"You'll be fine, lets go and find the others."
"Have you told them about your video on vine?"
"Not yet, but I will."

We met the others and all sat down at a table for break. We all spoke to eachother casually until something popped up on Syd's phone screen.
"Shawn is this you?" She showed him the video.
"Yeah, Jazz posted it last night."
He said nervously. Everyone immediately gathered around Syd's phone and watched it.
"Shawn this is amazing!" Sid said.
"Have you seen all the views this has?" Char
said leaning over Syd.
He looked at me. "Yeah like 10k."
"No, 25k."
Shawn's eyes widened. "What?"
"25k it says right there." Syd pointed to the bottom of the video.
"Oh my god! How did you even find this?"
"It was on my news feed."
We all discussed what song he should sing next but it wasn't for long as the bell rang for next lesson.

I sat in science but I couldn't concentrate.  I really need to pass this maths exam. Just thinking about maths made the lesson drag but it was soon lunchtime. I headed straight to Mr Jacob's room and knocked on the door. "Come in." I heard him shout from the classroom.
I entered the classroom and shut the door behind me. He looked straight at me. "I've just finished marking your exam paper."
Oh god. I took a deep breath.
He smiled. "Full marks."
My eyes widened. "No way! Are you serious?"
"Yep." He placed my paper down on the table "See for yourself."
I picked up the paper and checked, full marks.
"Does this mean I'm staying in your class?"
"Yes and I wont say anything to your parents, for all they know you're making good progress."
"What about Shawn? Does he still need to mentor me?"
"If its ok with him I'd like you to continue, you two work well together." I wasn't quite sure what he meant by that but I was happy.
I left the classroom and headed to the cafeteria to get lunch. I dropped my heavy books off at my locker. Before I shut my locker Shawn came up beside me. "How did you get on?"
I smirked. "Full marks."
He pulled me in for a hug. "Well done! I knew you could do it."
We broke. "All thanks to you."
"We can celebrate properly Friday."
I pulled my eyebrows together. "What do you mean?"
"Ariana?"
I put my hand over my mouth. "I completely forgot about that."
He laughed and we then headed to meet the others. We all sat down and planned out Friday.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all dragged and finally it was Friday. We arranged to meet at Syd's house straight after school and head straight to the arena grabbing something to eat on the way. We got to the venue early and took some pictures in front of the giant poster. It wasn't long before it was time to get in our seats and wait for Ari. She began with Bang Bang and ended with Problem. I danced and sang along to every song and the others did the same. Halfway through Right There Ari's mic stopped working so the entire audience all sang the lyrics to the rest of the song. Shawn immediately got his phone out and recorded the whole thing, my voice started to hurt from literally shouting the lyrics (I know this happened in the Brookyln show and not the Toronto show but let's pretend it did).
The atmosphere during the entire show was incredible, I was so happy, I looked over at the others and they were all smiling. When Ari came on stage standing on the giant cloud and chandelier Shawn, Syd, Dan, Char and Jake's mouths all dropped making me laugh.
I screamed like crazy when she hit the Bb5 in Be My Baby and when she done the note change in Break Free. Once the show was over we got back in the car and headed home.
