Jazz's POV

The last week before my move to new york me and Shawn spent everyday with eachother. Some days we would lie in bed all day either watching movies or Shawn would use me as a gaming chair when he played video games. One day we even cooked dinner for both of our parents, although we did almost burn it.
Syd and Char took me shopping to find a dress for prom.
"This one doesnt sit on me properly."
Syd sighed. "You've said that about every dress we picked out."
"I'm sorry. Can we just go? All this dress trying on is making my boobs sore."
"We have one more left." Shes handed me a dress. "Try this on and if you don't like it we'll go."
I took it from her and then put it on. It was a long halter dress with a slit up it. It hugged my shape perfectly.
I showed Syd and Char.
"That's the one!" Char said.
"Red really is your colour."
I paid for the dress and then we all headed home. Shawn begged me to show him the dress but I refused. I want it to be a surprise on the day but I did tell him the colour so he could get a tie that matches.

Moving day
We packed the last of my boxes into the car and got on the road. The drive took 7 hours and we had to stop a couple of times for a toilet break and so Dad could stretch his legs. We picked up some sandwiches from one of the service stations and then got back on the road.
When we arrived I was given a key card and we I was shown to my dorm. It had two beds, two desks and two closets.
We unpacked all my belongings and I met my roommate. Her name is Alex and she said she spends most of her nights at her boyfriends.
After we were done unpacking we went for dinner somewhere close by.
Mum and Dad booked a hotel and Shawn stayed with me for the night. We said goodbye and got ready for bed, I loaded Netflix on my laptop and laid on Shawn's chest as we watched a movie.
Not even half an hour into the movie I moved my laptop away and climbed onto his lap. I started to kiss his neck.
"What are you doing?" He asked me with a smirk.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" I moved my kisses to his jawline and went to undo his pants but he stopped me. "What if your roommate comes back?"
I smirked. "Then we'll have to be quick."
He crashed his lips back onto mine and removed my top..

The next day we had breakfast with my parents and then they had to drive home.
I said goodbye to my parents and when they got on the car I hugged Shawn tight. "I'll see you in a couple of weeks."
"I'm gunna miss you."
"I'm gunna miss you too but we'll see each other at prom."
He gave me a kiss and then got in the car. I waved them off before returning to my new room.

Prom day
Mums friend came over at around 3 and done my hair. I said I wanted an updo and then let her do the rest. She braided some of it and curled the pieces hanging down from my face slightly to frame it. She then did my makeup and I changed into my dress. As I was putting on my heels I heard the door go. I made some last minute adjustments to my dress and then headed downstairs carefully trying not to trip and ruin my makeup. I headed to the kitchen and Shawn was stood talking to Mum and Dad. They all paused as I entered and Shawns face dropped. He walked closer to me. "You look amazing."
I smiled. "You don't look too bad yourself."
He laughed and then looked down. "I got something for you." He got out a red corsage and then put it on my hand.
"It's beautiful, thank you." I pulled him in for a kiss and then chuckled as I wiped my lipstick off of his lips with my thumb.
"Shall we take some photos before the others arrive." Mum said.
We all went outside and took photos. We took a few of me and Shawn, and then me, Mum and Dad. When the others arrived Dad popped a bottle of champagne and poured us all a glass. We took our drinks outside and took a few more photos before heading off.
Me and Shawn went in his jeep and when we pulled up he walked over to my door and opened it for me. I took his hand and he helped me out before locking his jeep. He held his arm out and I took it as we walked in. We were given a drink on the way in and we made our way over to our table. We sat down at our table and waited for the others to arrive. Shawn turned to me. "You really do look beautiful tonight."
I smiled. "Thank you."
"I can't help but imagine what you'd look like in a wedding dress."
"You think about that?"
"Yeah. I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my
life with you."
I smiled. "I love you."
He placed a kiss on my forehead and not long after Syd and Dan sat down. "Where are Jake and Char?" I asked.
"They're now coming."
Shortly after Jake and Char sat down the photographer called us all outside for photos.
Me and Shawn posed for a few photos and after the others had theirs we all got in a group photo. As we walked back inside we passed Lyndsey. She was with a boy I didn't recognise. She turned to me. "You look really pretty Jazz."
I smiled. "Thank you, you do too."
"Thanks." She said before walking away.
I turned to Shawn and he just shrugged.
We returned to our table and shortly after the food was served. After we ate a couple of people said some speeches and then the dance floor was cleared. There was a photo booth that I'd been dying to have a go at all night so I dragged Shawn to it and we took some photos.
We posed for a few funny photos and some serious ones but they were mainly photos of me laughing at him. The others came over and we got some group photos. Once we were happy with the photos we got we headed over to the dance floor. We were the first ones and as soon as we started to dance everyone soon followed.
We all danced in a circle and as I watched everyone laughing and smiling a huge wave of gratitude came over me. My life has completely changed since I moved and I've never been more happy than I am right now, surrounded by my incredible boyfriend and my best friends in the whole entire world. Bohemian Rhapsody suddenly started to play and everyone smiled. We screamed every single lyric not caring how annoying we were being to everyone around us.
Towards the end of the song we all hugged eachother but straight after a slow dance song
came on so I found Shawn. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck as we danced.

At around midnight everyone started to leave, we got asked to go to an after party but I was kinda tired and Syd already suggested going for a late night along the beach afterwards.
We said goodbye to our teachers on the way out and then headed to the beach.

I got out of Shawns jeep and took my heels off before leaving them in the car. I held my dress up as we paddled our feet in the sea.
Shawn looked at me.
"What?" I asked.
He didn't say anything. Instead he held his hand out so I took it. We danced along the beach and he spun me around a few times making me giggle but after a couple of minutes his phone rang. He took the call and it seemed importsnt because he wandered down the beach a little. I went back to the others and Dan was carrying Syd into the sea threatening to drop her making us all laugh. Shortly after Shawn came back and his expression had completely changed.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"I can't see you anymore."
