Selina and I walked back to where Alex was at to see her talking to Asami and Korra. I wrapped my arms around Alex's waist from behind.
"You were gone for quite a bit. You okay?" She asked as I rested my head on her shoulder.
"Mhm." I hummed. I looked at Korra and Asami with a smile to which they smile back.
I looked at Asami a bit longer.
Alex was talking to Korra and Opal who just showed up. I removed my arms from around Alex and walked to her.
"Hey, Asami. Can I talk to you? Alone." I asked. Selina came behind me, "Well, and with her."
"You're going to tell her?" Selina said looking at Asami.
"She'll be able to help." I grabbed Asami's hands into mine, "Just promise you won't tell a single soul. Not even Korra, she might spill by accident."
She looked at me confused, "Sapphire? Woah, calm down." She looked around then landed her eyes on me, "Just tell me whats going on."
"We can't talk here." I pulled her towards the stairs by her hand.
I took her to her room with Selina right behind us.
I looked into her eyes explaining every single detail.
"So you're saying that you need to play Alex's mom's game so you take her down somehow? And why do I need to be apart of this?" She asked placing her hands on her hips.
"So I don't lose her." I said, my head hanging.
She pinched the bridge of her nose, "Why can't we just tell her?"
"Because we won't get a real reaction and her mum might catch on." I said.
"I don't know...."
"Please Asami. I can't lose her. I'm doing this to protect her. Just talking about it makes me hurt." I said holding back tears. One betrayed and fell down my cheek.
"Fine. How long do we have?"
"Thankyou thankyou thankyou!" I pulled her into a hug.
"And to answer your question we have around 7 weeks." Selina answered.
She pulled away from the hug, "Only seven? Well, this is gonna be one hell of a ride."
