Nitara walked back to the pack house slightly dazed. She wasn't paying attention until she ran into someone and lost her balance. Before she could fall on her ass, someone caught her hand and steadied her.

When she looked at the person, the warm smile on his face made her relax.

"Sorry Aplha Reed, I didn't see where i was going" she said grinning sheepishly.

"It's alright Nitara. And please just call me Jeremiah."

"Jeremiah. Okay. Umm.. I am going to stick with Alpha Reed, it sounds more ummm.. awesome?"

Nitara finished with a questioning tone and looked up at the man if he was okay with the idea. He just gave her another of his warm smile.

"So Nitara, how are you liking our pack so far?"

"Its good, really beautiful actually. The forests are so alluring. I think i will like it here."

"Good, good. And how is your day going so far?"

Nitara thought back to her day, meeting the Evans sibling was cool, then there was the run in with the barbie crew and then the slightly embarassing encounter with Gabriel.

"Its going alright so far."

"Made any friends, yet?"

"Umm.. yeah. I really got into a good conversation with Tracey before she left for her family fishing expedition."

She paused and thought should she tell him about her little run in with his son.

"And I umm.. met Gabriel when i was in the woods."

She decided to leave the clearing part out, because she had made a deal not to tell anyone. She didn't know if Alpha Reed had any idea about that clearing or not.

Alpha's expression become a little serious at the mention of his son. Nitara wondered why!

"Oh! He was not rude to you, was he?"

Nitara was confused, Gabriel was anything but rude.

"No, he was a little stern in the beginning, but when i told him who i was he was very polite." she told him, deciding not to tell him that his son was flirting with her.

Alpha's expression suddenly changed to a look of shock.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"That does not happen very often." he mumbled.

"Umm.. what?"

Alpha collected himself and gave her another warm smile before telling her that he said nothing important and then continued, "You should go and have some rest, for the feast tonight. Afterall it's in your honour."

Now it was Nitara's turn to be shocked.

"What? My honour?"

"Yeah, to introduce you to the pack."

"Oh no!"

Alpha was confused.

"What?"

Nitara gulped before answering, "I don't like all the attention. Could you please just say my name without calling me upon stage or something like that?"

Alpha snickered at the little girl.

"Okay, we will do something like that. Now go and rest for a while. You must be tired from roaming around for the entire day."

"Yeah, okay. See you later Alpha Reed."

"See you later, Nitara."

With that she went back to her room and took off her clothes and let her mattress and blanket consume her.

She drifted of to sleep, dreaming about those, emerald like eyes.
