It was morning.

They were still in the clearing when their eyes opened.

Nitara was lying on top of Gabriel and woke up when she felt bile rise in her throat.

She got up from him and moved a little further away from him.

The missing heat of Nitara's body made his eyes open too. He saw her throwing up a little distance away. He got up and went to her holding her hair behind her back.

"Uggh.. I want this morning sickness to be over." Nitara groaned.

Gabriel chuckled.

"It will soon be."

"I know, I know."

They both stood up and walked towards their home.

In an hour, Zachary would be punished. If he hadn't tried to harm her baby Nitara would have felt really bad for him.

They walked in their home to their bedroom. They took a shower together which got delayed due to their other activities.

After they were done they got dressed and went down to the kitchen.

Jeremiah and Eva were already sitting on the table. All kind of breakfast food on thr table.

"Are we having a feast or something?"

Gabriel asked his mother.

"No silly, I didn't know what Nitara would like so I kind of went out and made everything."

They all laughed at the sheepish look on luna's face.

The alpha family enjoyed their breakfast with a lot of banter and laughs.

'We have such a great family.' Lena yipped happily in her mind.

Nitara shared the same opinion. At the Crescent Moon pack she had a family but some where deep down there was always a feeling of someone missing.

When she found that piece that was missing for so many years of her life, anywhere in this world seemed a happy place.

Now she felt content.

Completed.

Funny thing it is.

Fate.

It had bought them together, when they both didn't have any hope.

Fate sure works in weird ways.

It was now time for Zachary's punishment.

The guy was standing in his place facing towards the pole. His back exposed enduring the lashes.

The fifth lash made him fall down on his knees.

By the twentieth blow Nitara couldn't see anymore.

"Its enough. Tell them to stop and have him escorted to the border."

She whispered in Gabriel's ears and walked away to go home.

"Enough.."

Gabriel said loudly, "Escort this mutt to the borders."

Tracey and Hudson also went inside. They were leaving today.

They found her in the living room.

"Hey Tara."

She looked up to see them standing in the doorway.

"Hey guys."

"We were leaving for Crescent Moon."
