Nitara woke up. Gabriel was still asleep.

This was a first.

Usually when the spent the night together it was always Gabriel who woke up first.

Nitara lifted her head from his chest to look at his face. The angel sleeping under her could easily pass for the most beautiful creature on this planet.

Now she knew why he liked to watch her while she slept.

'He is so handsome.'

'I can't believe we have such good mates.' Lena bought her out of her thoughts.

'Me neither. Did you have a talk with his wolf?'

'Yeah, after you two fell asleep we talked for a while. I really like Kaiden.' somehow Nitara could tell her wolf is blushing. She wanted to tease her but thought otherwise and went back to appreciating her mate.

Her mate.

It sounds so unbelievable. She has a mate now. One who loves her unconditionally and accepts her for who she is.

The serenity on his face was so aesthetic. She could watch it all day long. She felt him stir underneath her and soon enough the most captivating green orbs were staring at her.

His eyes scanned her face and then went to her neck.

A wide grin appeared on his face, his hands went to his mark that was adorned on her skin.

Reed Gabriel.

His initials.

As soon as his hands touched the mark, a shock of electricity ran through her body and she shuddered with pleasure.

"Beautiful." he whispered.

"Would it make me a bad mate, if I say that you got even more beautiful now that you have my mark?"

"Hmm.. let me think." Nitara said with a thoughtful expression.

"It kinda does." she said with a mischievous smirk.

And the next thing she knew she was flipped on her back and Gabriel was over her. Their bare chest pressed against each. Nitara was left breathless.

"Oh yeah?" now it was his turn to smirk.

Nitara gulped and nodded.

His smirk just turned into an adoring smile and he pecked her lips once. Before it could turn into more. Nitara's stomach made a growling sound.

Nitara's face turned red and she hid behind her hands. Gabriel chuckled in her neck.

"Oh god! This is embarassing."

"Nah! Nothing is embarassing. You are adorable."

He then sat up pulling her with him and carressed her cheeks with the back of his hand.

"Lets go and get some food in your growling tummy."

He gave her an eskimo kiss and she couldn't help but giggle. They both then stood up, pulled on their underwears and jeans.

Nitara hesitated in wearing her father's t-shirt after having these intimate moment with Gabriel. Somehow it felt weird.

Gabriel saw her and offered her his t-shirt, "here."

Nitara smiled at him thankfully and took it from his arms and threw it over her head.

"That is my dad's."

"Ohh."

They started walking to the entrance of the cave. As she took her first step, she felt the soreness in her core, but smiled as she remembered the actions that left her so sore.
