Betty POV
At the Cooper house
Cheryl is doing a lovely job on the wedding. The invites got sent out yesterday! I really can't wait. I was eating cereal with my mum when suddenly there was a strong thudding on the door, walking towards it I felt my heart sink. Was it the black hood or worse?
As I reached the door I slowly opened the door, just enough so I could see who it was at the door...
"Juggie" I cried, so happy it was just him.
"What the hell is this" he yelled holding one of my wedding invites! I stuttered not knowing what to say. Just then I heard my mum call me from up stairs...
"Betty, who is it?" She called as she came down the stairs
"Oh mrs Cooper have you heard about the happy couple? He screamed while chucking the invite in her face. I hadn't told her yet, I had her invite in my bag. I was going to tell her at lunch but it was too late her eyes were red and she was hurt! With that she quickly ran back up stairs to get away from the truth!
"Jug, just go! I don't need this!" Before I could say anything else he cut me off-
" you know what Betts, I had enough with all this I going! I'm leaving Riverdale and I'm not coming back! Hope you and Archie have a happy life!" With that he dropped the invite and charged away from the house. Getting on his motorcycle and heading back to the southside to get his bags and go, For good!
As soon as he left I shut the door and grabbed my mums invite out of my bag and ran to go talk to her...
In Alice's bedroom

"Mum" I called as I entered her room
"Just go Betty! You clearly don't want me in your life, save me the pain and go! It's just Polly all over again!" I handed her a box of tissues and placed the invite in her hands...
"Mum, I didn't forget to invite you! I want you to be there it's just I was going to break it to you gently. I'm sorry that you found out the way you did! Please come, it would mean a lot to me! Plus as dads in jail I want you to walk me down the aisle! Please I need my mum!" With that she look at me in the eyes with her tears streaming down her face! She smiled and almost jumped on me, giving me a hug...
"Of course I will Betty. You the only one who hasn't walked out on me despite my unintentional efforts to drive people away! I would be honoured to walk you down the aisle! But one last thing! Who is the groom?" I laughed and smiled.
"It's Archie mum!" We both laughed just remembering all the time she would try keep us apart as kids we always made our way back to each other...
"Well one things for sure! You and your sister do like red heads" the laughing continued as we hugged it out and I showed her the clipboard Cheryl politely together for the wedding; showing all the plans and dresses.
