They say that being married is the beginning if a new life and Spirit had to agree. The day that he would marry the love of his life was here.
Briefly, he had the memory if when he had married Maka's mother but quickly dismissed it. that was much different from this moment.
For one, Stein would be the one he was kissing today and the past would leave forever. Two, Maka would be there and he had to do everything not to embarrass her or himself, which was impossible because three, he was the one in a dress this time.
Spirit smoothed down the ruffles in the dress and frowned at his reflection. There were so many ruffles they were almost annoying. He heard a knock at the door and turned.
"Who is it?" The door opened and Spirit had to hold back tears.
"Hello papa." Maka said from the doorway.
"Oh my beautiful Maka!" He held out his arms and she closed the door before allowing him to embrace her.
"I'm proud if you." She said into his chest. And Spirit held her an arm's length away. She was beautiful, dressed in her white flowing dress that fell to her knees with a black ribbon around the middle and black heels.
"You look amazing." He said and she smiled.
"And you look even more so papa. Now," she sat down at the desk in the room and pulled out a small box. "Blair and I got you a little gift for tonight." She smiled as she pulled out underwear... Really sexy underwear...
"I'm not putting that on! It's bad enough that i'm in a dress! And-"
"Papa." Maka looked at him seriously. "Just do it. You want to make Stein happy right?" Spirit nodded. "Then..." She held out the lingerie to him and he mumbled incoherently before taking them from her. "How do i even put these things on?" Maka smiled.
"You'll figure it out." He went into the bathroom and slipped his own underwear off and, after some difficulty, managed to get the bizarre things on.
"On?" Maka asked when he emerged and Spirit nodded.
"Let me see your legs to make sure." Spirit grumbled and pulled the ruffly dress up to show her his thighs. "Good." He tossed the dress down and Maka stood.
"You're blushing an awful lot papa." She chuckled as she straightened his dress and began to fuss over him.
"Okay Maka, i'm fine." She smiled.
"I know. Here." Maka placed a pearl necklace around Spirit's neck and put on matching clip on earrings.
"Maka do i-?"
"Yes, you have to papa." He smiled at her as she picked up the white gloves.
"Almost done." Maka took out pearl clips and pinned some of Spirit's hair back from his face and then put the long veil on.
"I'll see you soon papa." She kissed his cheek and then ran put and Spirit smiled. Lord Death came in a short time later.
"Hello Spirit. Are you ready?" Spirit sighed.
"Ready and nervous." Lord Death chuckled.
"Well, everyone's waiting." Spirit followed him out of the small room and took a deep breath.

Justin Law escorted Spirit down the isle and Stein felt tears in his eyes. The black suit he had borrowed was a bit tight but it was not his main focus at the moment. He watched as his bride made his way toward him. Spirit was beautiful and the tears came even when he cursed them.
Lord Death stood behind him, prepared to lead them in their oaths. Stein didn't hear anything Lord Death said as he stared into the beautiful eyes if his bride, his Senpai.
"I do." He said, praying he said it when he was supposed to. He watched Spirit's lips when they formed the words and could hardly take his eyes off of them. He was so beautiful.
"You may kiss the bride." Lord Death said and Stein tossed the long veil oit of his way, wrapped one arm around Spirit's lower back and the other behind his neck and kissed him. The relatively large crowd broke out into cheers and Stein smiled as he pulled away and stared at the crowd and then back at his bride. Spirit smiled at him and Stein picked him up and walked back up the isle with the love of his life.
Lord Death had arranged for a limo to take them to the plane which would then take them to the Bahamas and then another limo would take them to their beach house for a week.
"Just like old times?" Stein whispered.
"Not quite." Spirit said and kissed him.
