As soon as we got back to Beacon, we told Ozpin about what happened.
To say he was "concerned", would be an understatement...
Apparently, the news also affected his judgement, because he decided that it would be a good idea to put me in charge of dealing with those things if they ever came back...
Which ya'll know would consist of me running away while screaming like a little girl...
But, I guess I'll take my new job and run with it...
I managed to catch up with Team JNPR, who had just finished their fight against Team BRNZ.
Of course this happened after I changed pants though, since the other ones now have a hole on the ass end...
I'm surprised that I don't have burns or anything...
I mean, I checked, and my actual body took no damage at all...
I guess the gauntlet makes me invincible...
"Hey guys." I greeted them.
"David!" Nora shouted while running over to hug me.
"Okay, just take it easy on... ACK!" I managed to get out before being tackled by the orange haired girl.
"Are you okay?" Pyrrha asked.
"Yep, just peachy..." I said breathlessly.
"You know, I think Sun's team is up next. Maybe if we hurry back, we can watch the fight." Ren said.
"Nora?" I asked.
"Yes?" Nora asked.
"You can get up now..." I said.
"Oh right, sorry!" Nora said while getting off of me.
I got up and walked over to Ren.
"You got a feisty one there, partner." I whispered in his ear.
"Hey David, do you want to come with us?" Pyrrha asked.
"To what?" I asked.
"Back to the Colosseum, to watch the fight." Pyrrha said.
"OH, oh, no, I can't." I said.
"Why not? You don't look like you're doing anything." Nora said.
"Well, ya know, I look like a lot of things." I said.
"Just, come on, it'll be fun!" Nora shouted while grabbing my arm.
"Wait a minute!" I protested.
"Just give up..." Ren said while facepalming and shaking his head.
We got into the seating area and managed to get seats next to Team RWBY.
I actually got to sit next to Yang.
Lucky me, huh?
"Are you excited? I sure am." Yang said.
"Just a little." I said.
"Good luck Neptune!" Weiss shouted.
Neptune waved to us, and then proceeded to make a finger gun gesture toward the all female Team NDGO.
"Break his stupid face NDGO!" Weiss shouted.
"Jesus Weiss, calm down, you're gonna burst a blood vessel!" I shouted.
"He's flirting with them!" Weiss shouted angrily.
"I would too!" I shouted back.
"Well that's because you're a pervert!" Weiss shouted.
