Annika was getting ready to go to the hospital the next morning. Shivaay had cancelled their morning walk to the beach today claiming that Annika should rest and Annika had readily agreed to it, thinking that it was such a gentle and sweet gesture. But now she was all ready to go to her "treasure house" her hospital when she received a phone call,
"Hello" Annika answered the phone gently
"Hello, madam this is me Neha from the reception" the other person spoke
"What is the matter Neha?"
"Maam actually can you come over to the hospital today. Your patient Padma has suffered another attack and needs you here. We tried bringing in another doctor but she refuses to be administered by anyone other than you and has suffered a panic attack in addition"
"What?" Annika asked shocked
"Yes doctor, but we are sorry. We know you are unwell and your husband had already asked for two days leave on your behalf, but we need you here." the receptionist further added.
This was a shocking piece of information to Annika. Why had Shivaay requested leave on her behalf, that too for two days without asking her. Her patient had suffered great due to one mistake nope big blunder of Shivaay. She got extremely furious on him.
"I'm coming immediately" Annika replied the receptionist and then went in search of Shivaay who was ironing his clothes.
"Shivaay"
"Good morning" Shivaay responded smiling
"Did you inform the hospital, that I wanted a leave" Annika asked firmly
"Yes, I did."
"And with what right did you to it Shivaay? Who gave you the right to decide on my behalf? What rights are you exercising on me" Annika questioned him angrily. She didn't like anyone interfering into her professional space
"I thought it'd help you Annika" Shivaay replied with a smile, but with blurry eyes from which tears threatened to fall any moment.
"You said it there, you said it! You thought! You! Did you think about what I'd think even for a second Shivaay. No. You don't have any rights to interfere in my personal space just because the world thinks that you are my husband. Get it. I'm getting irritated just by looking at your face Shivaay" Annika shouted angrily. She had literally lost all her marbles, with the information that her patient had suffered a panic attack because of her.
As soon as Annika had finished talking Shivaay walked angrily into his room, after saying a SORRY angrily and then shut the door very tight with a bang on Annika's face.
And Annika walked out of the house angrily, muttering under her breAth "how dare he close the door on my face. He was at fault after all".

Shivaay was now sitting in the college canteen. He had thrown two students out of the class for laughing in between the lectures and had given retention for another set of students for talking in between classes. He had never behaved like this before, not even when he was at worst of his moods. He had been one of the over friendly professors at college and today what he did had left the students wondering on what had happened to their always cool Shivaay sir.
Annika's words had pierced Shivaay very deeply. He was finding it almost impossible to forget it and hence was behaving this way. He was too angry today. How could she speak to him like that? He was only trying to help her out? Anything or everything irritated him to the core today.
"Here have your favourite espresso" Siddharth sat besides Shivaay handing him over the cup of coffee.
"Thankyou" Shivaay said with a grumpy face.
