Shivaay contemplated his decision of going back home while driving his car through the busy Mumbai lanes. The day had been unusually gloomy and the evening had been a one with a heavy downpour. Shivaay who now very well knew Annika's fear for darkness and thunder had made up his mind to return back home. But nope he still hadn't forgiven her, he was just trying to be there at home so that nothing would go wrong again. He didn't want to rush to the hospital yet another time if Annika did something silly like, last before yesterday.
"Who is this fool kidding. At least not me Destiny. He claims He's returning home but not for her, isn't this sounding too foolish and funny? What say? Such ego is not good for health. Oops sorry for interfering in between, it's me Destiny."

Shivaay reached home, it looked like she hadn't returned home yet. But how did that matter to him he thought. Mumbling something under his breath He unlocked the door. He returned after having a shower and then looked at the clock it was 9 but still she wasn't here. She usually returned home very early around 7 from the day they had been living together.
"May be she has something more to attend today", he whispered to himself. "Anyway I don't care for her" he muttered to himself and went towards the kitchen to cook something. It had been raining heavily without a stop.
"Wait was she caught up in the rain" his mind spoke,
"Nope, she's too gutsy and brave, she'd drive back home even if she's caught in the rains" he tried silencing his mind.
"But she's alone and fears the thunder" his heart spoke
"She has lived here in Mumbai all alone before marrying me" he now tried silencing his heart.
"Had she left this place, like he had stayed at Siddharth's yesterday" his mind again started reporting him.
"No, how could she leave him just like that. Ok not leave him but his place just like that. He needed explanation after all she had lived here for the past 3 weeks", he just got extremely angry at the thought that Annika had left him just like that, for a small quarrel without informing him.
"But this fool too did the same yesterday right. He too left the poor girl here all alone. These men are too much sometimes. Sorry for coming in between again"
He couldn't come up to think anything rational right now, his mind was occupied with thoughts of only Annika's whereabouts. He was too furious. He picked up his mobile dialling her number,
"Ok what's there in calling her. I'd just ask her where she is and then cut the phone" he muttered under his breath waiting for her to pick up the phone. But nope she didn't pick it up, the voice over rather said that the phone was switched off.
"How could she just switch off the phone like that?" He became more angry and then dialled the Mumbai hospital hoping that she'd be there or with the intention of at least getting some information about her.
"Connect me to Annika" he replied as soon as the line was answered even without saying a hello.
"But can we know who this is?" the person on the other end inquired
"Its Shivaay Singh Oberoi" he replied quickly
"Can we know whether you've any appointments with the doctor sir"
"I'm her husband God damn it" he literally shouted irritated now.
"Oh I'm extremely sorry sir. Annika madam left the hospital long back, 2/3 hours back to be precise" the person replied and Shivaay cut the phone abruptly.
