Harshvardhan was all ready to leave to the airport. He had insisted taking a cab. But Shivaay and Annika had  wanted to leave him at the airport together. Harshvardhan had to give in, after all they had agreed his request of leaving to Delhi at least. It had taken him a lot of time to convince Annika. But finally she too had agreed to it, but only after some convincing from his son in law. He was proud of Shivaay. He was proud of his selection of a perfect groom for his daughter, more than anything Shivaay was a good human being. Shivaay was the son he never had.

Lost in his thoughts he was sipping a cup of coffee waiting for his children who were, basic workaholics to return back home.

Shivaay walked in just then.

"You are here beta! When will she come back?" Harshvardhan questioned Shivaay, sipping his coffee.

"She's stuck in something it seems, she'll be here in an hour it seems" Shivaay said slumping down onto the couch, holding his forehead

"What happened? Are you alright? Problem at work?" Harshvardhan asked Shivaay with concern

"Just tired and this headache is killing me" Shivaay replied with a smile

"Oops, headaches are terrible" Harshvardhan replied searching for something in his small back pack

"That's something petty, ill be alright with a pain killer or two"

"Why take pain killers, when I've home made remedy", Harshvardhan walked to him with a bottle of ointment, ready to massage his forehead

"No uncle, that's not needed" Shivaay replied, now very awkward

"Stay straight, don't wriggle" Harshvardhan commanded strictly and Shivaay had to give in.

He started massaging Shivaay's forehead and Shivaay was feeling relieved. More than relieved he was feeling emotional.

"Are you feeling good now?"

"Thank you uncle" Shivaay replied gratefully

"Mention not. By the way Shivaay, I hate one thing in you" Harshvardhan replied continuing his massaging

"What Uncle?" Shivaay asked worried

"This, this same thing. You calling me uncle. You still call me an outsider. Call me papa like Anni does"

"But......" Shivaay hesitated.

"I'm not listening to any "But", call me papa and that's a command" said Harshvardhan sitting next to Shivaay.

"Papa", what this single word meant to Shivaay, none could understand, None.  It brought to him a lot of vague memories  of his dead father.

"Say it beta, what's in a word. If you don't wanna regard me as your father, that's completely Ok", Harshvardhan patted Shivaay's shoulder.

Shivaay felt bad, he didn't want to disappoint Harshvardhan. He meant a very lot to Shivaay. Else who'd care for an outsider like him and regard him as his own, just because he was married to his daughter. Shivaay never ever wanted to hurt this man, who was so precious to him, who had an important place in his heart.

"Nothing like that un.... sorry PAPA" Shivaay said it in a go quickly

"There you go. Wasn't it easy" Harshvardhan asked with a  hearty laugh and Shivaay hugged him back in response with teary eyes.

"Aww! Aww and Aww. This is me! Ehh leave it anyway, you know who I am?"
